Thank you for a great stay in Meslan, lovely little town with all the essentials and additional benefits of a park and fields. Hosts provided great communication and welcome. Only suggestions would be a welcome guide/book with the essentials and we did have a few splinters from the decking but a lovely garden area

We found our stay to be mixed. First the good things - the house is spacious with plenty of room for a large family, the swimming pool is of a high quality and also of a good size, the people of Meslan (notably the baker, the pharmacist and the bar-keeper) were absolutely lovely and among the friendliest people that we have ever met in France. The less good things - Splinters, the deck around the pool is not well maintained and I pulled perhaps 20 splinters from our 3 kids feet over the 3 weeks of our stay. Electricity - On arrival we were asked to sign a "contract" which said that we agreed (among other things) never to run any of 6 named electrical appliances at the same time. So you cannot, for example, use the toaster and the washing machine simultaneously. Similarly, the oven can't be used at >200 degrees (they have pulled the temp knob off to prevent this). We kept to their rules, but had one power cut of a couple of hours in the kitchen area. The owner was pleasant and helpful in resolving this. The explanation is that the pool is large and constant electricity draw and you need a commercial rather than domestic level of power supply to maintain electricity to the house at normal levels. Additionally, I would say in some other respects the house needs more maintenance. Masonry is a bit crumbly, only one "sticky" key is supplied, and so on. We enjoyed our stay, but its fair to say that the house has good and bad aspects.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub in Brigittes geräumigem und charmanten Haus. Ganz besonders ist außerdem der große gepflegte Garten mit zahlreichen Sitzmöglichkeiten und der große Pool, den wir ausgiebig genutzt haben. Die Kommunikation lief problemlos, Brigitte war jederzeit ansprechbar und alle Fragen konnten kurzfristig geklärt werden. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Het huis staat in het zeer rustige Meslan, met veel steden, bezienswaardigheden en goede restaurants in de omgeving. Het huis voldoet aan de beschrijving, waarbij alle huisraad wel enigszins is verouderd. Het verwarmde zwembad is een pluspunt, maar door het minder mooie weer konden wij het helaas nauwelijks gebruiken. De eigenaren en de buurman waren heel aardig en behulpzaam. Als je niet veel om luxe geeft, is dit een goed huis.

Une très belle maison de charme à la campagne avec plein d'activites aux alentours pour passer un agréable séjour. Nous avons été chez dame nature petit parc animalier à 10mn de la maison nous avons également fait une randonnée aux roches du diable également à 10mn en voiture et la mer à 30mn de la maison. La piscine chauffée et le jardin sont indéniablement un vrai plus dans cette maison. Notre fille de 6ans a tout simplement passé son temps dans la piscine. La maison est très spacieuse et très bien équipée nous n'avons manqué de rien elle possède même une buanderie avec lave linge sèche linge et table à repasser. Tout y est pensé pour que l'on se sente comme chez nous. Un cadeau d'accueil avec des produits typiques à déguster nous attendais à notre arrivée...une très gentille attention de la part des propriétaires. Un grand merci à Mr et Mme Billard pour leur gentillesse et toutes leurs petites attentions qui ont rendu notre séjour encore meilleur. Nous avons sincèrement passés de très belles vacances en famille . Un grand merci également à Christian qui a été d'une grande gentillesse et bienveillance avec nous. Merci à tous nous emportons avec nous plein de beaux souvenirs. Melle Alves

Nous avons beaucoup aimé nos vacances en Bretagne, à Meslan. La villa se trouve à la campagne mais pas très loin de la côte; Nous avons visité Pont-Aven , Concarneau, Etel, l'île de Groix ..........La villa est grande et bien décorée avec tout le nécessaire ( lave- vaisselle, lave- linge, grande télévision..... Ma petite fille a beaucoup apprécié le lit à baldaquins, et moi , le chauffage d'appoint dans la salle de bain..... Sans oublier la piscine chauffée et la terrasse. De plus, nous avons eu du beau temps!!!!! Nous gardons un très beau souvenir de nos vacances en août 2017.

Nous avons passé 14 jours en famille dans très jolie maison décorée avec beaucoup de gout. Nous étions 5 adultes et un bébé, et quel luxe d'avoir chacun sa chambre et sa salle de bain. La literie est excellente, tout est très propre! Accueil très chaleureux avec un petit présent, et des rafraichissements. Maison au calme avec sa belle piscine chauffée et éclairée. Malgré la météo quelque peut capricieuse, nous avons quand même pu visiter Concarneau, Quimper, et le magnifique marché de Hennebont. Nous recommandons sans hésiter cette location, et espérons peut être y retourner durant de prochaine vacance.

Wij hebben 2 weken met 6 personen verbleven in dit huis. Het weer was (uizonderlijk) prachtig en de mensen in Bretagne zijn veel vriendelijker dan in het Zuiden. Het huis is gelegen in het zeer rustige Meslan. In een straal van van 50 km vindt u een hele reeks steden en toeristische attracties. Ook fietsen en wandelen kunnen in de buurt. Het huis voldoet aan de beschrijving, alle beschreven huisraad is aanwezig. De huisraad is wel enigszins verouderd. Het huis was redelijk proper bij aankomst, zeker naar Franse normen. De tuin was mooi onderhouden, het verwarmd zwembad is een pluspunt. Ook al is het een ouder huis met een verouderde huisraad, de prijs die je betaalt voor dit huis met verwarmd zwembad is zeer goed.

Nous sommes allés à Meslan pendant 14 jours, la maison est grande, au calme! La piscine est idéalement chauffée et éclairée de nuit! Meslan se situe à une heure des grandes villes. Bref, nous y retournerons car nous avons été enchantés. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et la personne qui nous a remis les clefs également. Je conseille fortement cette location.

"Nous avons passé un agréable séjour malgré la météo très mitigée. La maison est très spacieuse, lumineuse, rénovée et décorée avec goût. La présence de nombreux appareils ménagers (lave-vaisselle, lave et sèche-linge, etc) facilite le séjour pour un grand groupe ou une famille nombreuse; les 2 salles de bain et toilettes sont également très pratiques. La piscine chauffée est évidemment la plus-value de cette résidence, les enfants en ont profité tous les jours malgré la météo capricieuse. Le jardin, la piscine, la terrasse en bois, les chaises longues en suffisance font du jardin un vrai havre de paix. Les principales attractions touristiques (Carnac, Quibéron, Concarneau, Quimperlé, etc) sont au maximum à une heure de route de la maison. Bref, idéal pour un séjour en Bretagne!!!"

"We had a really enjoyable week in this house! The house is equipped with everything you could wish for and is wonderfully decorated. The swimming is lovely and even though we did not have much luck in the weather department, we used it everyday. The surroundings are great as well. Meslan is a small, friendly village. It is only a short ride to Le Faouet, Lorient and Carnac. It is in a good location to see a lot of Brittany!"
