Hotel Residencial Los Frayles

Location is excellent, pool is great, staff is wonderfully helpful

No a/c, the room needs a bedside table.

We enjoyed the swimming pool. The location was very central.

We had paid quite a lot for the hotel and an upgraded room. The room had no aircon but a fan which wobbled in the socket. As the room opened onto the street it was quite noisy. We found the staff sometimes friendly but not always. There was bottled water in the room on arrival but we stayed 3 nights and it wasn’t replaced - there is no reduction for more nights and we paid a lot for a basic room. Other rooms look to be much lower rates and probably better value.

Hotel room was clean. Breakfast the next day was included but basic (bread slice, ham, cheese and eggs). T Pool was nice and clean tho. The bed was comfortable and it was a decent sleep.

he water pressure and temperature in the shower sucked - I attempted at 2 different times (Peru has issues with warm water and having enough water for showers - did not wash my hair).

Central location which is very convenient for PeruHop.

Walls are thin so it’s very noisy. No lift and no assistance with luggage. Room was tired and smelt musty.
