    We had a lovely 2 night stay at the Stepwell hotel. It is a great location, very central. From the roof terrace, you get a great view of the stepwell and the fort, we also had a view of the stepwell from our room. It probably has one of the best views in Jodhpur. We popped to the Raas hotel next door for a drink on their terrace, and to be honest the view and people watching was much better at the Stepwell hotel. All the staff were very friendly, but a special mention to the breakfast staff who were lovely.

    We have stayed 3 nights in Jodhpur and have changed hotels twice. We were extremely disappointed to the Jodhpur accommodations until we found The Stepwell Hotel. The rating for the hotel is low. That is because it was old. But it is newly renovated now. Please read the reviews since 2024, all positive. The view of the hotel is awesome. On Rooftop restaurant you can view the fort, stepwell and the city clearly. From room window you can peek people hanging around the stepwell. The food is great. The manager and stuff are helpful. Most important, it is a clean hotel! In Jodhpur it is so hard to find a "clean" hotel.
