    My first stay at Apo View Hotel was truly a pleasant surprise. I was amazed to discover that this iconic hotel has been welcoming guests for 78 years. It's remarkable how a property with such a rich history continues to maintain its charm, elegance, and warm Filipino hospitality. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed. The staff were courteous, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. My room was comfortable, well-maintained, and thoughtfully prepared, making my stay both relaxing and enjoyable. What impressed me most was how Apo View Hotel beautifully blends heritage with modern comfort. Every corner of the hotel tells a story, yet it still delivers the quality and service expected by today's travelers. Thank you to the entire Apo View Hotel team for making my first visit such a memorable one. I now understand why this hotel has remained a landmark in Davao for generations. I look forward to returning soon. Congratulations on your incredible 78-year legacy, and here's to many more years of excellence and heartfelt hospitality!

    we booked for 3 persons. dis appointed because we are given extra folding bed, i thought it’s 2 bed. on going renovations during our stay. many amenities are unavailable. we’re just told after booking is confirmed overall, 8 out of 10

    I was simply looking forward to a short getaway and a relaxing massage, but unfortunately, my stay turned into a very disappointing experience. Upon check-in, I was assigned a room that was already occupied by another guest. This was not only embarrassing but also unsettling and distressing. What made the situation worse was the staff's response—they appeared to be smiling, yet there was no genuine sense of concern, urgency, or sincerity in either their words or actions. I had also specifically requested a pool-view room. The front desk informed me that none were available and instead offered what was described as a "garden view." To my surprise, when I looked outside the next morning, the view was nothing but concrete structures. It felt misleading and dishonest to market something as a garden view when it clearly was not. Overall, the experience fell far below expectations. What should have been a relaxing escape became a frustrating and disappointing stay due to poor room management, misleading information, and a lack of genuine customer care. Note: The supervisor only offered a cup of coffee for the whole situation.
