Tierra Guaraní Lodge

El Lodge es muy lindo! Se encuentra dentro de una reserva natural llena de plantas que "abrazan" la arquitectura. El desayuno completo y el personal súper amable. Siempre a disposición!

La falta de buffet o de opciones de refrigerio y alimentos por fuera del horario del desayuno. Al estar tan alejado de la Ciudad y lejos de un kiosko, se hizo menester organizar las comidas.

Room was basic and needed some refresh.

This was our favourite stay of our trip to Argentina and Brazil. We stayed in the tree house and it was such a cool experience. It is totally private, with cool views into the canopy of the jungle. We even saw a humming bird flying around our balcony. It has a private walkway to the shared pool. The staff were exceptionally nice and even helped us carry the suitcases up to the treehouse.

The shower in the tree house had basically no pressure due to how high up we were. This was fine for the 1 night we stayed, but might be an issue for longer stays here.

This is a beautiful location and at a surface level very cute. It was accessible enough for Ubers to come without issue and the concept was very cool. Living in a treehouse with access to Iguazu is a cool concept but the execution needs work.

I have 3 major gripes with the property. 1) we asked them to arrange transport for us to Iguazu falls, they agreed, and then never provided the service. We had to scramble the day of, to organize our own transportation to Iguazu falls which fortunately was very easy because Uber picked us up promptly. We followed up with the property over whatsapp twice, which they never responded to. And that leads to 2) the property had very poor communication both in person and virtually over whatsapp. Multiple times in person they were dismissive smiled, agreed when we asked them something and then went off to do something completely unasked for. We communicated in both spanish and english, neither of which were effective. We asked them about cold water and we were almost outright dismissed. We asked to arrange transportation to and from the property numerous times and never managed to get them to understand the ask. 3) the facilities dont work well. The shower was either ice cold water or boiling hot water due to their setup. We asked about this and they essentially said to us that yes you either have cold water or boiling water and you basically cycle between them very fast while you shower to make it warm. That doesn’t feel like an adequate system and needs remedying. The toilet also only flushes once every 25 minutes, as the reservoir has to fill and the water flow is incredibly low. The water pressure in the sink was also incredibly low, such that just getting my hands wet enough to wash was a challenge. At a surface level it’s very cute, until you have to maintain hygiene, or communicate adequately.
