Brilliant room and wonderfully attentive staff. A great welcome and helped us park the car. Showed us the room and explained everything. Took out luggage up for us. Lovely private space for dinner.

The breakfast was adequate but not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel

We (family of four with two boys 12 & 16) stayed three nights in the Tokinone Annex and absolutely loved it. When we booked the place, it took us some convincing that it was worth the high cost but we are so glad that we paid for the luxury of this two bedroom apartment as it was worth every penny. The two on-suit Onsen alone made it worthwhile and we enjoyed them very much. The rest of the suit was well made in local materials and felt exceptionally comfortable. A minibar that fills itself over night was also great :) The hotel staff was kind and attentive and we have nothing at all to complain about. In fact, we were surprised that this is “only” a three star hotel. For us, it felt more like a five star place. We’d love to come back in the future and we would for sure book the Tokinone Annex again.
