About this house rental
Walk downtown in minutes (3 blocks) to all of the breweries and restaurants Asheville is known for (one just a block away). Private 6-person hot tub. Walk to almost anything downtown within 15 - 20 min. Beautiful chef's kitchen with wall oven and 5 burner gas cooktop. Decorated with original art, the space has a feeling of freshness. Custom cherry bar, exposed brick, hardwood and tile floors with high efficiency systems. Covered front porch with seating. Private backyard with fire-pit and hammock, large enough for yard games. Modern laundry room with storage/pantry. Some of the closest attractions are the Orange Peel, McCormick Field, Wicked Weed Brewery, Green Man Brewery, and City Bakery. My girlfriend and I stayed at the property for a long weekend getaway. The house is just a short walk or drive from Patton Street which has a lot of bars, restaurants and shops like the Orange Peel for live music and Wicked Weed Brewing. The house is NOT in a sketch neighborhood like another review mentioned. It is in a cute neighborhood of older bungalow style and bigger homes, some of which have been renovated and others that haven't.
The living room and dining room well well lit and filled with natural light. The kitchen was well appointed and the appliances are all newer. The washer and dryer were new models too. The bedroom was cute and the house had wood floors throughout. The backyard has a fire pit which we did not use. Towels and sheets were provided and they were clean.
The owner reached out to me by text the day of arrival and while we did not need anything, I feel that the owner would've been responsive to my needs had I reached out.
It is as advertised. A cute, stylish bungalow in a safe and charming neighborhood. I would rent this listing again and woudl recommend it to my friends!

We stayed in this awesome house for 5 weeks and we have enjoyed every single Minute.
Everything what you need is available and the location is brilliant. The house is in silent sourounding and very close to downtown.

There is a reason that there are no pictures of the outside of this location. The house sits in the middle of a very sketchy block. That being said we had absolutely no problems with any of the neighbors. The house was perfect for me and my wife and with a few additional upgrades/improvements this would be a truly great find. First off the second bedroom was locked? No explanation. I tend to snore and it would have been a nice alternative. Secondly you feel a little like a fish in fishbowl as there is not enough shades covering doors/windows. And lastly if there was a couple of windows that you were able to open especially at night it would have made our stay even more comfortable. Location was very close to downtown area and I would stay here again and hope that the owner addresses some of the issues herein to make this an even better expierience!
