Location.

Extremely dated. Doors are scruffy and dented. Unit is not well maintained. Cleanliness level is sub standard. There unit is not adequate stocked with crockery or cleaning supplies. Curtains falling apart. Bed is uncomfortable. There isn’t clean linen available. Pots haven’t been cleaned. Balcony was not cleaned. Broken chairs.

Beautiful penthouse … comfortable , modern felt like home away from home!! Well equipped!

The patio is surrounded by other apartments which is fine! No shutters in the kitchen , half shutters in lounge and dining , so zero privacy at night in the sitting areas. We needed an extra key as we were 3/4 adults with different schedules. What a nightmare … back and forth exchanges on WhatsApp. Whoever is manning the WhatsApp line is not about customer care , is all about their convenience and their staff. We were made to feel as if they were doing us a favour… on the contrary the gentleman who checked us in was so professional , friendly… excellent customer service!!!! We were planning on extending our stay but this extra key issue was such a put off that we left to the waterfront village.

Peaceful and beautiful apartment

The unit is spacious and beautiful. Pictures don't do it any justice. The building itself is also clean and peaceful. We called for maintenance to fix the washing machine and they came to sort us out within a few hours. Very close to the mall. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores down the road. Even a spa! Will definitely use this property again next time. It was also very easy to get hold of the property management on their line or via Bookings.com chat, and everyone I spoke to was friendly and helpful.

One of the ensuite bathrooms was not properly cleaned. I had to get my own domestos and clean it. The hand towel and floor in that bathroom was also dirty. It would help to get at least 1 ply blankets for cold nights. There are throws but those are too light and almost ineffective for a cold night. Maintenance also promised to return to fix a faulty bathroom bulb but never came back.

The location of the apartment. The views and sunlight pouring into the apartment amazing. Great security..Plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable! The couch needed deep cleaning or airing out..the cleaning staff are not doing the history justice. The internet was so slow I couldn't watch TV. The TV in the bedroom was broken. I had to wash the extra blanket before using it! This is a gem of a place, the owner needs to personally check in and do quality control especially around cleaning and fixing things.

Nice apartment but a pity about the smell and washing machine

Location was excellent: close to all amenities- including the waterfront which was walking distance in the day time

To complain about the neighbours as there was vomit 🤮 smell in the passage on the second day ( couldn’t see it but could smell it ) also there was smell of weed being used on the first floor was very strong 💪 the washing machine wasn’t working and still not repaired when we departed ( was a bit of a let down as we had come straight from the Kruger National Park and was planning to do washing )

Misleading pictures and unethical management

Location, the unit itself is very nice, secure parking, staff at building were awesome, pity about the rest...

Building work was very disruptive. It's mentioned in fine print, but then also states "some units" are affected by it, which you wouldn't know unless you get there. Pictures on booking site are not even of propr's properties (confirmed by their staff), and misleading. Paid extra for BBQ and balcony (with spectacular view of CT as advertised), but received completely different unit, with BBQ which could never be used, due to workers staring down onto balcony, and NO view. Outside furniture was broken. Remediation by propr a complete mess; sent/forced us to Bo-Kaap and THE worst building there. Initially they shrugged their shoulders and said building works was stated on booking platform. At least then charge less for the unit?! Main issue is not really works, but that we selected and paid for a unit based on photos on site, but this was completely misleading and not even of their unit and as advertised/promoted by propr. Double check your booked unit if managed by propr, check and confirm photos. Left a day early, hoping to be compensated for early exit.

Great modern Apartment in super city location.

Location is perfect. Safe, next to a supermarket and many really happening cafes. Private parking and security is great. Apt is super modern and bed is very comfortable. All in all I can recommend and would do it agian.

The cleaning was unfortunately not really perfect. They took notice and promised to send someone that never came. Also the mid term cleaning after 7 days did not show up. The host was not at the property in the morning for teh check in as they proposed via email and confirmed before multiple times. Well, maybe I am too German to be fair, but they had to go after the requests and did not (cleaning, repairs, check-in)

The admin staff were awesome / sent goodies and a 'get well' card to our Son for his Transplant :-)

Picture showed a high rise apartment block which would have lifts. Our apartment was adjacent to the high rise apartment and was a very old building in good condition and the apartment itself was great apart from having a broken couch which was replaced the day before we checked out. Problem was that we were in Capetown for a kidney transplant and so having to use stairs in such a weakened condition was a major negative.

Great Greenpoint Getaway

The apartment was spacious and very well equipped . Lovely branded toiiletries in all the bathroons which was a nice touch.The location was perfect for our stay with plenty of restaurants within walking distance and a Woolworths food store a block away. Security on site excellent.. We were warmly welcomed by Vish the PROPR managing agent at reception on our arrival and he gave us a walkthrough of the apartment. All in all a super stay.

Superb

I was anxious because I never received instructions on how to book in. When I phoned, the person on the phone could not properly instruct me to get to the reception, and said that I had to wait 15 minutes with an 83 and 86 year old lady in front of the building until someone will meet us 15 min later. If they could just send us a photo of the property and clearly show that the reception seem like it is in a different building but is in fact part of the building.

Really nice but a lot of room for improvement.

Really beautiful location and stunning apartment.

When we arrived, the early checkin was not respected while we had requested it specifically. And late check out was also not respected while we had talked to the person who welcomed us as the property. Felt like we had to rush out. Just a bit unfair from my perspective. Also one of the sinks was clogged which was not the most hygienic thing to have. Could really do better for a place this expensive. this was really not 5 star stay.
