Villa Atlantico

Good location about a 30 minute walk from Carvoeiro. Kitchen had plenty of utensils and very stylish. Pool was a good size and the grounds were beautiful. Olga helped us a lot with our two queries throughout the week. The horse next door was a pleasure to see each day.

Paid for the pool to be heated to then have to call them out as it was still freezing four days into our week stay. A lovely woman came out to turn on the pool heater which made it warm enough to get in on the 6th day. The drains also blocked in two of the bathrooms, again Olga was great and resolved the problem within a couple of hours.

Fittings are tired, kitchen and bathrooms are overdue a refresh

Stylish, very well equipped villa thoughtfully designed and set in large, mature grounds providing total privacy and glorious views over fields towards hills in the distance where the sun sets. Lovely pool, seating and relaxing areas in the sun and shade. Some great artwork and quirky furnishings. 3 large bedrooms, 2 at ground floor level and one exclusively to the first floor with large balcony offering panoramic views, all with en-suites. One downstairs room has also had bunk beds squeezed in. Whilst the villa is a bit dated and an older style we loved it and had a perfect family holiday for 5 adults and one child under the age of 1. We were aware that a car is essential. Different beaches, Carvoiero and major supermarkets are a straightforward 5 minutes drive. Carvoiero is about 25/ 30 minutes walk. We would return.
