Cegonha do mar

It was a really nice stay for such a low price during late June. I wasn’t expecting any 5 star treatment for this price. I booked the apartment expecting it to be clean, with a comfortable bed, a nice kitchen and warm shower. It was all of that, and the hosts were kind enough to leave olive oil and some other cooking essentials, which I truly appreciated. The location is also convenient, as I was surfing at Arrifana beach, which was only 4-5 minutes by car (although you can walk if you want, but it will be longer of course). All in all, fantastic value for money and everything you could need and want, unless you want a premium fancy stay - in that case look elsewhere.

Everything was perfect. Basic and no fuss, but excellent if you’re looking for an apartment for yourself with a kitchen in this area.

Die Ausstattung der Küche war super, es gab fast alles was man brauchte (leider kein Salz). Die Größe war auch völlig in Ordnung. Uns wurden genug Handtücher gegeben. Und unser haariger kleiner Freund war willkommen. Von den Gerüchten im Appartment haben wir nichts mitbekommen. Schimmel haben wir auch keinen gesehen. Der Sonnenuntergang ist wirklich schön aus der Wohnung. Die Umgebung ist ok, es gibt Restaurants und fussläufig kleine Einkaufläden. Ohne Auto kommt man aber nicht so gut an die schönen Orte.

Der Boden war leider wirklich dreckig als wir kamen. Wir sind erst barfuß rumgelaufen, hatten dann aber super dreckige Füße. Im Wohnzimmer gab es leider keinen Ventilator, dadurch war es nachts leider wirklich warm. Vor allem weil man nachts die Fenster nicht öffnen kann, denn es gibt kein Mückennetz an den Fenstern, so dass wir komplett zerstochen wurden. Die Betten haben leider durchgehend geknarrt.

Wir mochten die ruhige Lage. Simples Apartment, ausgestattet mit den Basics. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten unseren Hund mitbringen. Gut erreichbarer Host!
