The location of the hotel was good.

The front desk personnel need a lesson in professionalism. They do not understand that the customer is the main focus of their jobs and the business of the hotel. When I checked in, my bathtub did not drain. I had to call in a work order. The room Internet did not work. I called the Operator since the front desk did not answer my call and a young lady said that she would get the IT person to fix it. This never happened. Only when I went back downstairs to the front desk was I given a different WiFi address and password, which worked very poorly and did not allow me to do everything that I needed to on my laptop during this business trip. When I checked out, the young lady carried on a conversation with her friend on the phone the entire time. I felt as if I was intruding on her. The restaurant operations need a lot of help. Responsiveness and attentiveness of restaurant staff is poor. My colleague is allergic to onions and asked for a pizza, after he was told that there were no onions on pizzas. He received a pizza with onions. I asked for butter twice on two different days for breakfast. The first time it took 15 minutes to get two small containers of butter; the second time I was told they had no butter to give. There is no entrance at the back of the hotel to go from parking to the lobby. The windows of the room that I received faced a wall and the windows were extremely dirty. I like natural light and did not receive it during this stay. The speakers for the call to prayer were located directly outside my window, so I was unable to sleep through the night and was constantly woken up by the prayer calls. With an attraction for tourists and international travelers, I was very surprised to find that very few of the hotel staff actually spoke English. My colleague and I communicated most effectively using hand gestures and Google translate. The hotel is a solid three star, but in no way is it a five-star hotel.
