Sweet little cottage surrounded by nature ❤️

The location was perfect, in the middle of nature but there was plenty to explore nearby with the car. The terrace and courtyard with cats and chickens was so pretty and relaxing. The bed was pretty comfortable. The cottage is compact and basic but has everything you need for a few days. The airco was necessary and worked well.

It would have been practical to have a few plastic boxes to put left over food etc in the fridge. It would also have been great to have a small vegetable knife rather than just the large one. These are just details though 😉

A short but nice vacation

I truly loved our stay — the studio was spotless and had everything we could possibly need. Our hostess was warm and welcoming. The village felt like a hidden gem, full of charm… with cats lounging around, chickens roaming freely, and roosters gently waking us in the morning. The air was filled with the sweet scent of jasmine and elderflower. It felt as if time had stood still. Absolutely magical.

A lovely quiet and calm spot in nature.

Very nice little cottage. Has everything you need and is very cozy. The location is very nice, close to several hiking paths, close to the national park and close to a restaurant and supermarket. The view is nice, and there are several terraces you can enjoy the weather from. It is also a lovely quiet and calm spot.

The only negative point I can think of, is that the shower head could not be hanged so you needed to hold it. The shower itself was lovely though. Also, if you want to sleep in and are not used to roosters, it might not be the spot for you ;)

Absolutely lovely place!

Lovely cottage in the middle of a beautiful village! Has everything you need plus a great view. Our only regret was not staying longer. Would definitely go back :)

Great place for those who love being surrounded by nature and don't mind being woken up by roosters

Nice tiny room with all the essential and a nice view on the greenery in a central position on the island of Mljet. Quite easy to reach from the port and close to a grocery store. It's surrounded by countryside and ruins of old rural buildings, where animals such as chickens, goats and cats can be seen at all times. This makes for a very unique place to spend your holiday, but a bit of adaptability is needed, especially when it comes to being woken up by a rooster very early in the morning or being surrounded by all sorts of flying bugs when you're walking outside. Finally, the host is very kind and attentive, the cleanliness was impeccable and the parking on the street is always available and just 50 meters away.

Overall we had a great time at Melita's cottage. Just a few things need updating, namely the mosquito nets which have holes and the bathroom light switch that you have to almost punch to turn the light on and off. Apart from this, there is really nothing else to complain about.
