We stayed at Holiday Home Frane at the end of July for one week, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. The house itself is stunning - full of character, thoughtfully designed, and beautifully styled throughout. The pool area is immaculate, with crystal-clear water kept at the perfect temperature, making it an idyllic place to spend long afternoons. The location is excellent, offering everything one could need within easy reach: supermarkets, a butcher, bakery, fishmonger and the charming town of Sukošan with plenty of bars and restaurants. For those wishing to explore further, Zadar is just a short and very affordable Uber ride away. Mislav was the most wonderful host, going above and beyond to make our stay seamless. On our first day, he personally drove us to a larger supermarket to help us stock up on essentials, guided us so we only bought what we truly needed, and even arranged for locally produced fruit and vegetables to be delivered the following morning. Thoughtful touches - such as beer in the fridge, fresh fruit on arrival, and plenty of towels - made us feel instantly at home. We also made use of the traditional kitchen to cook fresh fish from the local fishmonger, which was a real highlight. All in all, this was an absolutely fabulous holiday. Holiday Home Frane is a rare find, and we will most certainly be returning. We could not recommend it more highly.

Firstly we are a family of four with two boys, 8 and 10. We are a bit fussy about stuff and expect things to be right when we have paid for it. This villa was BRILLIANT. Communication before the trip was excellent. Villa was easy to find with the directions and the driving is easy. Mislav met us when he said he would and was keen to make sure we had everything we needed. The villa was very clean and tidy, Mislav clearly takes pride in the house which was his grandfathers. The inside is laid out well. The kitchen is very small but adequate for cooking. The bathroom is also fine, shower is OK and there is enough hot water for 4 if carefully managed. The pool area is really fab. The pool is big enough for us and the kids. The outside seating is great and the option of shade makes this area relaxing for sun worshippers and shade lovers alike. The air conditioning was efficient and brilliant on the hot days allowing my boys to get a good nights sleep. The house is in a quiet area, but only 10 min walk from the local town which has several good quality restaurants. There is also a bakery 5 mins away for fresh bread and essential chocolate croissants. Spar supermarket is 5 min drive. Zadar is an easy 15 min drive away and 'sandy' beaches of Nin are 30 min drive away... All easy driving. All in all this is a great little villa and we felt welcomed and looked after by the host but not intruded on. We valued the privacy and quietness of this villa while being walking distance to the local facilities.
