Nice building and good room. Staff were flexible and helpful.
Restaurant was closed and it was difficult to find anywhere open to eat in the nearby villages on a Sunday night. I booked the hotel specifically because it had a restaurant, anticipating the difficulty of eat in rural France on a Sunday. It wasn't clear when I booked that it would be closed.

Friendly staff, clean, comfortable, nicely decorated huge room.
The restaurant was closed which we were not made aware of when we booked or before we arrived. We arrived quite late after a long drive and then had to drive again to find food. The hotel is quite remote so that is not ideal when the restaurant is closed.

The “pool” was disappointingly small and cold (more like a cold tub). We were not able to dine, nor use the outdoor patio overlooking the fields (as opposed to the one overlooking the street). We heard too much noise from other guests, so we did not feel well-rested the next day.
