About this villa rental

This is a superb, modern villa of 150m² floor area, with an additional very large basement area, ideal for storing a boat, kayak or bikes etc. The villa is set in private grounds of about 1500 m², with remote control gates. There is a swimming pool, extensive private pool area for relaxing, We have a table tennis table which proves very popular with all families. There is a summer kitchen adjacent to the pool, together with a shower/WC. And also a BBQ area.
A terrace, with dining table and a roller awning is ideal for al fresco dining.
Living room and dining room are both very well fitted out, with contemporary furniture. Bedrooms and bathrooms are well fitted, with quality showers, linen and towels. We have wifi, satellite TV and netflix, spotify subscriptions for you to enjoy.
The house is located on the edge of Mandelieu la Napoule. There are very nice views from the property, both out to the sea and Isle St Honorat island, and the Esterel hills.
There is lots to do in the area; excellent beaches are close by, and the hills have some excellent hiking and walking trails. There are numerous golf courses within 20 minutes. Local amenities include sailing, motor boating and tennis.
Both Cannes (8km) and Nice (40 minutes) are well worth visiting for their world class art galleries, not to mention the shopping possibilities!

While an added convenience, a car is not essential as there is a good bus service within 10 minutes walk. The bus service also connects directly with Nice Airport. Trains running along the coast are 2.5 km away, allowing easy access to e.g. Nice, Monte Carlo, Menton and into Northern Italy, or west towards St Raphael. There is a ferry service in La Napoule to Iles de Lerin, or from Cannes to St Tropez.
The local hilltop towns of Mougins, St Paul and Vence are easily reached.
This is a fantastic holiday home for a family wanting to enjoy a peaceful and picturesque location, with convenience to all that the Cote d'azure has to offer.

We stayed for a week as a family at this fantastic Villa in the South of France. The location was superb for exploring Cannes, Nice, Antibes, and also the town of Mandelieu - where the villa is located. We hired a car to get there (30 mins from Nice Airport) - to be aware, the path up to the villa is steep and tight, so a mid-size SUV is the perfect size. Alan was a fantastic host, with clear instructions and information for the villa - and very responsive to Qs beforehand. The villa was equipped with everything you need and more - especially pool inflatables/ balls etc, and all the things you need to enjoy a trip on the beach. 3 of the 4 rooms have air conditioning which was very much needed for sleep, with every day being 33 degrees+! The view from the villa is simply stunning - the hills and mountains behind you, the Mediterranean to the south (with yacht spotting a must!). Eating and relaxing with this (especially from the roof terrace) was amazing.

Great week here with our 4 kids (aged 11-17). Enjoyed the house & pool v much. Air con in bedrooms much appreciated. Did a few trips out; Monaco by train, drive to Lac de Saint-Cassien & boat to l’Ile Sainte Marguerite. All v easy. When I was booking I looked at the reviews. I wanted somewhere big, with a pool, a/c, all the towels/linen included & a reliable host (we did email Alan on Day 1 with a question & he replied straight away). All these requirements were met. Thoroughly relaxing holiday. Would highly recommend. We would definitely visit again.

Amazing villa. We all loved the pool, good size. The villa itself is spacious, easily accommodate 6-8 people. The air conditioning in the 3 bedrooms were a godsend during our stay at end of July when weather was around 38 degrees. We had an amazing time. We particularly liked the quietness and the privacy as well as the awesome view. Only criticism would be the lack of air conditioning in the lounge. Owners communication and speed of response very satisfactory. Definitely recommend a car to get around the area.

We had an amazing week in Mandelieu and would thoroughly recommend this villa. Our three children loved the pool along with the table tennis and other games that were available for them. My wife and I loved the kitchen that ran out onto the balcony, making dining really easy, and the views of the sea and mountains added to an amazing experience. Everything was as it was described and we did not have to worry about anything- we shall be returning!

Well equipped holiday home on the hills above Mandelieu, beautiful views over the bay of Cannes and the private jets taking off over the bay. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Great location to explore the region, there are direct trains to Monaco.

An amazing property. Very spacious and clean inside and out. The beds are fairly comfy, air conditioning worked a treat, place was very safe/secure. Area is absolutely beautiful, views from the villa are outstanding. You don’t need to leave the Villa (apart from buying food) as all you need is at the property - the owner has shared all his holiday items for use; pool/beach towels, table tennis, boules, English speaking cable tv, books, games, Sony speaker, ice maker, even toilet roll! We went as a family of 6 adults but there’s enough space for 8-10. Inside and out dining areas would seat 8-10 too. Plenty of parking spaces - drive is steep but worth it for the wonderful views. Pool is clean, attendant comes once a week (pleasant man). Approx 5 minutes drive to all amenities including small beach, port and train station (easiest way to reach Cannes, Nice, Monaco etc as parking is easier in Mandelieu). Whilst there Son-in-law played golf at ‘Golf de Cannes Mandelieu Old Course’ - he said that it was a decent course (normally plays at either Royal Portrush or Royal Liverpool!) Drive from airport takes approx 35 mins. Communication with owner was spot on. Fabulous holiday. Really sad to leave.

Great villa - lovely pool, lots of outside space and fantastic facilities such as the table tennis table which we all really enjoyed. There was an issue with the pool pump but this was resolved really quickly via the owner. Great service

We all had a very relaxing time in this beautiful but comfortable house! Any problems quickly sorted out. Matched the description exactly. Great location for the beach and the mountains! Just a short drive to some amazing restaurants and amenities. It was hard to tear ourselves away from the view. Would definitely use this property again!

We spent more than a week in this property with two kids. The villa met all our expectations, very well furnished, clean, with great clean pool. We have very much enjoyed the view from the terrace on the sea. The center with all shops is very close and you can reach the beaches in Mandelie (btw very suitable for small kids) in few minutes. Or you can reach Cannes in 30 min too. We had only one issue during our stay - a problem with the gate (some electricity issue) and both the agent and owner were very helpful and responsive to sort it out. Looking forward to come sometimes again. Was really great and we spent a lovely time there.

This is a wonderful villa, offering spacious family accommodation. Living rooms, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms ensure are all well furnished and equipped with everything you could need. The kids really enjoyed the pool and table tennis and of course, netflix/wifi was a real plus. We look forward to returning in September.

Large, spacious, well-laid out villa with beautiful sea & mountain views. Rooms very well appointed and plenty of toilet & bathroom facilities. Decor and linen excellent. Close to the lovely sandy beach at Mandelieu, which is also by the harbour so plenty of boats to watch as well. Clean beach with shallow water for quite a way so ideal for young children as well as older ones and adults. Toilets & cafe on beach but also only a very short walk into the village itself with plenty of nice shops and restaurants, including a fantastic icecreams shop. Lots of parking around. Easy distance from most places for sightseeing if you can tear yourself away from the pool & beach. Not too much traffic &, as advertised, hyper market only a short distance away, with nearer boulangerie & supermarket. Really enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend, even though a bit hilly.

I spent an incredible 3 nights in this villa with 5 friends in May. As soon as we arrived we instantly felt at home and were very pleased to see that everything was in excellent condition. The house was very comfortable with everything one would need ( including good wifi) and the outside pool area was the perfect place to relax. We took full advantage of the terrace by always eating there and making the most of the fantastic views. The bbq worked a treat and was very easy to use. We were delighted with the villa and all had an incredibly relaxing holiday. We wouldn’t think twice about booking it again !

My family and I spent a week in this beautiful home and couldn't have asked for more. The house is incredibly comfortable and offers all that you need to spend quality with the family. The view from the back patio is just stunning. We spent each morning with our coffee just chatting and taking in the view. The house/kitchen was so well kitted that we only went out for dinner twice. We spent many afternoons by the pool, which was well maintained along with the garden area around the pool. We took a day trip up to Nice via a train from Caan. It was so simple and the location of the house made it so easy to do. We would definitely rent this house again if our travels take us back to the South of France.

Have just returned from a very relaxing week over Easter from a lovely villa equipped with all mod cons to suit all generations. The villa, pool and gardens were in extremely good order throughout. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace with a fantastic view across to the Mediterranean, lounged by the pool and even managed a couple of barbeques in the early evening. La Napole is a lovely little town which caters well for tourists. We had a couple of excellent meals there and also in Mandelieu. We ventured as far as Monacco with good rail links from La Napole.There is so much to do and places to visit that we wished our stay had been longer. We hope to return soon. Alan and Barbara 's organisation and communication was excellent throughout and they made us feel most welcome in their lovely villa.

I stayed with 2 friends for 4 nights at the start of the September. All three of us are males in our mid 20s and the thankfully, the Villa was exactly as advertised and immaculately clean on arrival The pool area is great and it catches the sun right into the evening to give ample time to top up that tan. There were sun loungers for all of us and an incredible pool to cool down in (very clean). The views really are really spectacular with the picturesque hills all around and amazing views out to the ocean in the distance. The Villa itself is a short walk to the local village where you can pick up as many pastries, as much cheese and as much wine as you could ever want. I would particularly recommend the Bouchon d'Aqui for a spot of lunch which is about a 25 minute walk away but absolutely worth it. The villa is very well equipped for a self-catering holiday with all the applicances you need to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner in the kitchen and indoor and outdoor tables allowing you to eat wherever you please. The barbeque by the pool looked capable of cooking for about 15 people as well if you're feeling adventurous. Cannes is just a short taxi ride away for access to some more glamorous bars and restaurants if that is what you want and every taxi we used had a SATNav to get you from A to B with the minimum of fuss. Overall, we were delighted with the Villa and had an incredibly relaxing holiday to end our summer.

This is a perfect holiday villa for families - the house is really spacious with great facilities such as wi-fi. The grounds are fully enclosed and very secure. The self-contained pool kitchen area with sink, hob and fridge is really handy for relaxed lunches, drinks, and snacks by the pool without having to worry about mess! There is an all-important pool alarm installed for children's safety. There are endless day trips in the immediate area but a holiday could equally be spend relaxing on the terrace and having fun by the pool of this lovely house.

This is an excellent house for stay in this beautiful area of the south of France. It is ideally located for the beach and amenities of Mandelieu, as well as being within easy driving distance to Cannes and Nice. The accomodation is extremely well kitted out with all you may require for your stay - there is a beautifully decorated living room with a large terrace dining area with a sea view, a great pool area and bbq.

We had an idylic two week holiday here. Fantastic location with amazing views. Great area to stay with lots of pretty coastal towns to visit for evening meals alongside the main attractions of Cannes, Nice Monaco & Monte Carlo. The Villa provides everything you would possibly need is well maintained with quality furnishings. Very private lovely pool and garden area perfect for relaxing in the sun or shade. Boules area great for "grandad and grandson daily challenge!" Wi-fi a very handy welcome extra for the kids to keep in touch with friends! We had a fabulous holiday would definately recommend and would love to return! The owners Alan & Barbara are very helpful and accomodating - thanks for letting us share your lovely home.

Med en efterlängtad familjesemester för 6 vuxna och 2 småbarn fann vi allt vi behövde i denna villa. Alla fick privat boende och bad/dusch med toalett, det fanns umgängesrum och stort matrum både inne och ute. Bra AC i 3 sovrum, man hade önskat även till det 4:e rummet. Köket fungerade fint, det fanns inget vi saknade där. Poolen var toppen, det finns solstolar med dynor, parasoller och badleksaker. En poolskötare kommer en gång/vecka. Allt var i gott skick och vi fick snabb återkoppling och support om något behövde åtgärdas. Egen bil rekommenderas då det är en stadig uppförsbacke att ta sig från stan till huset. Inte så många turister i stan, vilket var trevligt. Vi fick ett vänligt bemötande av stadens folk, även om nästan ingen talade engelska. Gammal skolfranska fick väckas till liv och det gick bra det med.

We spent a really enjoyable time in this lovely villa during our long stay. It was well-furnished both inside and outside (Tv, Netflix access, full of towels, confortable beds, deckchairs, barbecue...as examples).It was very clean and also really welcoming. We particularly loved the view in front of the sea and Esterel Mont (the villa is on the heighs of Mandelieu part accessible by car ) and we also appreciated that the owner answered quickly to our questions. To sump up, we totally recommanded the place.

My experience in this villa was just wonderful. I stayed here with my parents, wife and 4 kids. Everyone of us enjoyed the house accommodation which offers spacious and well organized rooms, an amazing view on sea and mountains, a swimming pool well exposed to the sun and very private, a ping pong table... I cannot describe all the house attributes in few words but there is everything needed for great vacations ! Moreover the house is at 7mins from the beach, 15min from a shopping zone, 20min from Cannes La Croisette, 30min from Nice. For sure I recommend this house to anyone who wants to have great time in France Côte d’Azur region ! Thanks to Alan who was really kind and responsive.

The villa was really nice, clean and spacious enough for the 8 of us. Same goes for the pool and poolarea. With the villa as starting point, it was 7 minutes to the beach and 30 minutes to Cannes, Mougines, Valbonne and other beautiful places to visit. We would absolutely like to come back some time!

We spent two weeks at this villa. We really enjoyed our stay. We had all the accommodations we need and the views from the terrace were magnificent. We appreciated the cleaned and big swimming pool too. The villa is very comfortable and well furnished. It's very closed from the center of Mandelieu and you can reach Cannes in 30mn. We really recommend this beautiful villa.

Dear Alan, as a family with 5 kids from 3 to 18 years old we really enjoyed our stay at your comfortable villa. Highlights were the pool that was frequently used and the spectacular views we had from the terrace. The kids were happy just staying at the villa and sometimes it was difficult to motivate them even going to the beach .... We visited Nizza, Cannes, Antibes, the Marineland and several beaches. We spent two weeks in this wonderful Villa on top of the city if Mandelieu. The house is very well structured, with an enjoiable terrace facing the swimming pool and a luminous and comfortable living room. The remaining part of the house matches the description on the site, everything comfortable and suitable even for a long stay. The landlord is very friendly and fair. We really recommend the Villa to any family or group of friends who wants to spend a relaxing time in Cote d'Azur.

Nous avons passé de superbes vacances de Noel dans cette propriété trés agréable .Trés bien située car proche du centre ville de Mandelieu et des accés à l'autoroute ce qui nous a permis de visiter toute la région trés facilement .le jardin est trés grand et on a apprécié les parties de ping pong .Nous avons pu déjeuner sur la terrasse au soleil toute la semaine .Les équipements intérieurs et la literie sont excellents . Seule la cuisine intérieure est un peu petite ( l'hiver seulement car on doit utiliser le barbecue l'été en plus ) .Nous reviendrons .
