My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing, and I honestly can’t understand how this place is rated as a four-star hotel. The overall standards were far below what I would expect. The cleanliness was absolutely unacceptable. The bathroom was extremely dirty, with yellow stains around the toilet and a dirty sink. The shower was so unhygienic I didn’t feel comfortable using it. The bed sheets were dirty and had hair on them, and the room clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly before my arrival. I booked a larger Deluxe room hoping for more space. Instead, I got two tiny rooms, around 10 to 12 square meters each, connected by a narrow hallway. Neither room had a proper window facing outside. One had no window at all, and the other faced a neighboring building so close there was virtually no view. Both rooms were extremely dark and felt more like a dungeon than a Deluxe hotel room. I was supposed to be on a higher floor, but was given a room on the first floor instead. The air conditioning was poor, and despite requesting a non-smoking room, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke throughout the room. There was no electric kettle in the room, so even making a simple cup of tea was impossible. the hotel made you feel very uncomfortable in terms of security and privacy, because even with a “Do Not Disturb” sign, someone opened your room door in the middle of the day without knocking or asking permission. When you asked what they wanted, they simply asked if you wanted water. Even if it was complimentary water, no one should enter a guest’s room unannounced, especially when a “Do Not Disturb” sign is displayed. That made you feel your privacy and security were not respected, and it’s not something you would expect anywhere, let alone a four-star hotel. The only nice thing was the reception staff, who were kind during check-in and check-out. Unfortunately, their kindness couldn’t make up for the many problems with the hotel. The only thing that genuinely surprised me was when I later read some positive reviews about this hotel. I honestly wonder what kind of experience those guests had, and what their standards are, because none of the positive things mentioned in those reviews matched my experience whatsoever. The soap provided was nothing special and certainly did not reflect the standard expected of a four-star hotel. The restaurant on the minus second floor was cramped, poorly lit, and uncomfortable, with a stuffy atmosphere. The food selection was very limited, and the options available were disappointing in terms of freshness and quality. The overall dining experience was nowhere near what I would expect from a four-star hotel. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and genuinely four-star experience.
