Self Cate Luxury Apartments

Spacious apartment, location was very good/walking distance to the lake, helpful crew, good communication, Nice sitting area outside, coffee/tea/sugar was provided, decent beds & sheets, warm water solution in the bathroom is good, nice and friendly neighbourhood.

The furniture was a bit uncomfortable. The kitchen sink etc are very low, inside the kitchen cupboards is a strange smell. Wifi was not always strong. There are some area sounds, but it is acceptable (like barking dogs, traffic, roll doors, sound from other apartments). Overall this was a good place to stay for exploring Kandy. We would book it again.

A highlight was enjoying the host's freshly brewed coffee, which added warmth to our stay. The location is ideal—close to Kandy town yet peaceful, offering both security and relaxation. The host was kind, attentive, and supportive, making us feel welcome.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent stay – highly recommended! We had a wonderful stay at the Self-Cate Apartment in Kandy, Sri Lanka. The place was very clean, spacious, and exactly as shown in the photos. The location was convenient, within walking distance of Kandy town, the lake, shops, and restaurants, yet calm and peaceful. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, always available when we needed anything. Check-in was smooth, and we felt very safe and comfortable throughout our stay. The apartment had reliable Wi-Fi, air conditioning, bedrooms and bathrooms, a kitchen with all the amenities, a TV, fans, and all the basic facilities needed for a short or long stay.
