Artisanal restoration of an authentic Provencal farmhouse, set in 2 acres, with private pool and walled garden. There are beautiful views in all directions, across the surrounding vineyards and olive groves, towards Mt Ventoux and the Dentelles mountains. Now adapted to modern living, it makes a perfect, beautiful holiday base within 5 minutes by car of all amenities in Malaucene.

The house can comfortably accommodate 8 people in 3 doubles and 1 twin bedroom, all with en-suite shower or bathroom. South facing and sunny, with easy inside-outside access and ample shade during the heat of the day. Air-conditioning in all bedrooms and ground floor communal space. Cosy woodburning stoves for winter months...

Languish by the pool, bbq, play 'boules' and savour the local fresh Provencale products from a number of local markets. Close to good cafés, shops and restaurants in Malaucene and Vaison la Romaine. Visit Avignon or the nearby perched villages - Crestet, Sablet, Seguret, Gigondas, Gordes. Try wines at famous Cote du Rhone domaines, or explore the Roman remains of Vaison la Romaine or Orange. Superb cycling area - close to Mt Ventoux, the property adjoins one of the most scenic bike routes in Europe. Mountain bike routes and nature trails can be accessed directly from the house and bikes can be rented in Malaucene. Enjoy local Festivals (Opera in Orange, July Dance Festival in Vaison and music events and concerts all over the area).

Absolutely fabulous villa for our 2 week holiday. Veronica was very helpful and easy and friendly to communicate with before and during our stay. The Villa itself has everything you need, very calm peaceful setting and our 2 girls loved going for a horse ride around the vineyards from the stables next door. Loads to see and do nearby. Would not hesitate to book again.

Absolutely beautiful house! A rare instance where the reality is even better than the photos. Stylish, comfortable and very well equipped with everything one could need. The interior is very spacious and airy, and everyone enjoyed that each pretty bedroom is also ensuite. Fabulous pool and gardens - we had lunches by the pool and evenings at the front of the house with the boules court!Also spotlessly clean and tucked away in a gorgeous part of Provence with a stunning view of Ventoux. Veronica is a great host and extremely helpful. We loved our time here, and couldn't recommend this rental highly enough - we are already making a plan to return next year!

Our third visit to this Provençal paradise was nothing short of magical! Nestled near Malaucène, this remote gem offers the perfect blend of privacy and convenience. The house itself is a dream, with its fantastic pool being the crown jewel. Each bedroom boasting its own bathroom is a luxury that ensures comfort for all guests. Our multi-generational group, including teenagers and even our furry friend, found plenty of space to relax and enjoy. Veronica, the owner, once again proved why we keep coming back. Her warm hospitality and attentiveness made us feel right at home. This year's stay was extra special as we celebrated my wife's 50th birthday. The serene setting and beautiful surroundings made the occasion an absolute joy. From the tranquil atmosphere to the well-appointed accommodations, this house continues to exceed our expectations. It's the perfect retreat for family gatherings, offering both relaxation and the opportunity to explore the charming Provence region. We're already looking forward to our next visit to this slice of heaven in the French countryside!

A week in this house with our 3 adult children and their boy/girlfriends was absolutely perfect. 1.5 hours from Marseille airport and close proximity to lovely towns and villages with world class food and wine on offer (like Nyons, Vaison la Romaine, Beaumes des Venice, Gigondas and many more!) made this holiday one of the best we ever had. Veronica is a lovely host and very responsive. We would recommend this property on all parameters and have already talked about a return.

The farmhouse was wonderful as a home base for us. The location is perfect for exploring the Rhone wineries, Mount Ventoux, Arles and Avignon. The home itself is very peaceful in a beautiful setting and it served our family perfectly. We were able to cook full dinners on multiple nights after going to the local markets. Veronica was amazing with answering any questions we had and responded almost immediately most of the time. If we are back in the area, we would rent this place again in a heartbeat.

Spent a week at Veronica's house for a good friends wedding, my wife and I and 2 other couples, and had an amazing time!!! Not only is the scenery amazing, but the house was perfect. Great size, wonderful kitchen, relaxing by the pool, quiet area but still close to town... had everything we were looking for!! Veronica met us there when we arrived to give us a tour and helped us Canadian understand European appliance and electrical, as well as the pool. We are already making plans to come back and stay again!!! Could not recommend this place enough for groups of friends or families who want to tour the countryside, ride Ventoux or just enjoy the amazing French culture. Thanks for making great memories!!

The original old mas has a modern interior, making life very easy. Veronica is a most attentive host. The property boasts a wonderful pool and is surrounded by vineyards and fields with a distinctly rural atmosphere but conveniently located near Malaucene and the other historic villages of the Cote du Rhône wine route.

Fantastic property in picturesque rural surroundings. Very comfortable and lovely decor with plenty of space inside and out. We stayed with our four boys who loved the pool and running around the garden. Loads of walks from the house and also a short drive away. Great base for exploring further afield too. We cannot just get enough of this house and this area. Perfect house for cyclists and the those who like peace, quiet and privacy in a lovely environment. Please refer to our previous reviews “Perfect in every way” for details of our previous stays. Tony and Veronica are exceptionally kind and informative hosts. The house and grounds are beautiful, comfortable, very clean and beautifully kept. We have rented vacations homes all over the USA and Europe and this is our favorite. We look forward to coming back for our fourth stay!

We had a wonderful time! Veronica and Tony were very welcoming and friendly. They gave us some great recommendations as well on local restaurants, bakeries and cafes. The house is beautiful, very modern inside yet maintaining a historic and authentic feel. It's bright with lots of windows, and we enjoyed lounging inside and outside, with plenty of space for our family of 8. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. The kitchen is very well equipped with modern appliances and more than enough housewares and crockery. It was easy to cook/BBQ and dine together each day with the large kitchen and dining area. The house is well situated and we went on different day trips during the week, winery visits in the very famous Chateauneuf du pape, walking through the markets in the nearby village of Viason La Romaine, visiting the Roman Theatre of Orange, Palais des Papes in Avignon, and even scaling the highest peak in the Tour de France (by car of course!). If you need anything, Tony and Veronica are great to communicate. We highly recommend their property if you are considering a visit to the area. You won't be disappointed.

One of the easiest reviews I've had the pleasure to write. This property is superb. A beautifully renovated farmhouse furnished simply but with taste. Fixtures & fittings are of the utmost quality. Kitchen is perfectly equipped to cater for a large party. Inside decor is unfussy, modern, with just the right amount of pleasant decoration. Bedrooms are roomy and uncluttered with plenty of storage. All en-suites upstairs are contemporary with plenty of room, light and ventilation - very good design. Pool area is delightful, plenty of seating, shade if needed. If I'm being very fussy I would must mention that the en-suite downstairs (being internal), could do with some added ventilation. No hesitation in recommending this property, in my opinion it's one of the most comfortable ones we've stayed in, modern, but at the same time retaining a rustic feel. Nice touch having a boules pitch and table tennis.

My husband and I stayed here for almost 2 weeks. We have rented homes in many locations around the world and I would say, without question, this is our favorite. It is amazing inside and out. You are in the countryside where it is peaceful and oh so lovely- very private. We ate breakfast and lunch outside nearly every day. The kitchen is very well equipped, very modern with beautiful applicances. We were able to take advantage of all the wonderful product Provence has to offer to make some wonderful meals here, have long lazy dinners together outside with wine until dark. The home is very clean, and inviting. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms beautiful and very modern. There are so many lovely places to sit and enjoy this home, it was hard deciding where to spend free time when we weren't out enjoying the rest of Provence! You can cycle from the house (for you cyclists out there...) which was what we did most days during our stay there. The pool was too cool for us to enjoy yet (we knew it would be for the time of year), but it is beautiful, and clean with many chaises for lounging and umbrellas/beautiful tree nearby for shade, too. Tony and Victoria are an absolute delight, responded to email questions very promptly, and were available for questions, etc. They are wonderful people and should be so proud their beautiful restoration of this stunning home. It couldn't be more perfect.

We spent an amazing 2 weeks at this property and I cannot recommend it enough. The house was immaculate and has all the amenities you require! We were 2 families sharing the property and never felt on top of each other. The pool and garden were fabulous for the kids and we spent many a day relaxing and swimming. The property is extremely well appointed, whether you want to pop in to Malaucene in the morning to pick up pastries, visit one of the many markets in the surrounding villages or venture up Mont Ventoux. We also enjoyed playing tennis in Malaucene and visiting the Gorges de Tourelanc- which was just perfect for a picnic (remember your river shoes!). The hosts Tony and Veronica were amazing- very helpful and attentive, always on hand to give us tips on the area and ensure we had everything we needed. Thanks for a fabulous stay, we will definitely be back! Uitstekend!!!

This is a great place for a relaxing holiday. Everything you need is on hand. It is clean, superbly appointed and set in such a perfect area. Either lounge by the pool or explore the nearby countryside: Mont Ventoux, hill top villages, local markets, numerous wine growing areas. Tony, the owner, is excellent. He is always on hand to share information about the area and is keen to make sure your stay is comfortable and problem free. It has to be one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. Highly recommended. Hopefully we can return!

This very spacious house is immaculately presented and generously equipped - nothing is wanting. It is furnished with a carefully considered mix of old and new and has a lovely and relaxing atmosphere. It is well situated within vineyards a short drive from the main road so convenient but peaceful. Externally, there are great views from the gardens, lots of outdoor furniture, a good sized pool and table tennis. The owners are friendly and concerned that your stay is perfect but still maintain a discrete presence. There are great walks from the door and Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles de Monmirail are within a short driving distance. There are many perfect medieval villages to explore including the southern Rhone villages of Gigondas, Vacqueyras and Seguret for winelovers. We spent a most wonderful week here and would highly recommend this property.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful house. It was perfect for our group made up of keen walkers and cyclists including myself. The walkers explored the Dentelles and elsewhere. For cycling it is ideally situated near the foot of Mont Ventoux. Plenty to see in Vaison and other local villages and towns as well. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool after our exertions and made good use of the BBQ. Would love to make a return visit! Alison :)

Das Haus entsprach in jeder Beziehung unseren Vorstellungen: Die Einrichtung, der Komfort und das Ambiente waren perfekt! Wir können aber auch die Umgebung sehr empfehlen.
