About this apartment rental

Brand new luxury apartment completed in 2012. Chez Ali enjoys the prime location of the area with stunning views from all sides. In the winter access to the piste is a 50m walk to the telecabin with ski-back to the car park at the end of the day. In the summer you are situated at the foot of the mountain range and within easy distance of all the village restaurants and facilities. Evian (lake side Leman/Geneva) is 12 km down the mountain and easy driving access to mountain ranges from Verbier on the Swiss side to Morzine on the French side within an hour. Milan is a 2 hour drive, Thollon Les Memises is very much Central Western Europe.

Spacious property, very clean and as described. Local handyman for any issues. Quiet area in summer, very close to the cable car up the mountain for amazing views and walks. Short drive to Évian and good base for exploring around Lake Geneva.

Perfect location for access to the ski lift as I hate walking in ski boots. Also centrally based near to the bars and restaurants. The accommodation was great for three couples as there were two en-suites and another toilet/shower. PS the bus to Evian was 2 Euros return. The whole trip was a bargain. When I visit Thollon again I will try an stay here

We had for fantastic days at the partment. The cable car to the top of the mountain is directly in the neighbourhood and gelfers good start for small! Hiking tours with the nice lake view. When we arrived the apartment, was not really clean wieso Lord of hairs and dirt lying around. But it hat everything we need it for relaxing after hiking. We aspecially enjoyd the general spaduo with the nice view on the mountains and a little bit on the lake.

Great apartment, great location - modern, warm & clean apartment - perfect for our 2 family visit. Only thing missing was a pizza cutter :) Clive was a helpful owner and replied to any queries we have very quickly. We would definitely recommend this apartment.

Having visited Thollon a number of times this apartment was undoubtably in the best location we have stayed in, less than 2 mins walk to the lift - this was great for the kids. Also very convenient for the shops, bars and restaurants yet peaceful and relaxing. The apartment was really clean, comfortable, warm and well equipped which contributed greatly to a really enjoyable stay which we will no doubt repeat. Thollon is a great skiing location which suits all our abilities and offers great value for money - couldn't recommend highly enough - a beautiful location and great accommodation. Thank you.

Dear Clive, I unsuccessfully tried yesterday to use the previous email contact but didn't have any luck. I wanted to let you know that we had two units available in Thollon over Xmas and my son and his family of three boys were to stay in the other unit. However we arrived rather late and we having difficulties obtaining keys to the other apartment and my son and family moved into your apartment, so we had three children staying there as well, and I don't know if there is an extra charge. If so please let me know and I am happy to fix you up for it. As for your unit it was far more suited for a family that the other. Although there wasn't a lot of snow there was still enough for the children to have a little ski, and the unit was ideal and fully equipped for family use. It was immaculately maintained, and the location and view were probably the best in Thollon. I would happily recommend the unit to family and friends, and would hope to rent it again ourselves sometime in the future. Thollon itself is such a fantasy location with wonderful views over the lake, has a lovely village atmosphere and so close to Evian, Lusanne and Geneva. The customer service and helpful advice from the owner was also very much appreciated. Regards, Lyn Slipper

Apartment was clean, provided everything you could need for a cosy week in the mountains and the views were to die for! Owner could not do enough to accommodate our requests. Perfect for a small family or couple looking to enjoy a relaxed holiday in the alps. Thollon is a small but friendly village with more than enough restaurants to keep your interest. Try John Jaques for good food and friendly atmosphere

For our ski break this apartment was the perfect place. Very easy to get to from Geneva airport. Once in the resort you soon realise that there isn't a better located apartment. Everything is located so close. The ski hire shop and lift are no more than a few paces away. At the end of the day We could ski right up to the chalet door. The supermarket, restaurants and bars are also very close. There is a good choice of restaurants and the bars are very civilised. The chalet was spotless with spacious accommodation for our party. 3 bedrooms AND 3 bathrooms so no queues when getting ready. The kitchen and sitting room had everything we needed. Lovely terrace too! The views when up the mountain were superb. You'd be hard pushed to find a more impressive panoramic of Lake Geneva. I've recommended it to family and friends and will definitely be looking to stay there again for future ski breaks.

New apartment in a great location with private parking on the door step. Ideal for a summer or winter stay only a few steps from the new gondola taking you straight up the mountain. 3 reasonably sized bedrooms, all with shower/bath facilities and a spacious open plan kitchen/lounge/diner with balcony and views across the roofs to lake Geneva below. Stayed during the summer when the gondola was running, fantastic views from the top of the mountain and a good café for a snack, well worth a few euros to make the trip. The apartment is ideally located for all the local bars and restaurants in the village and the small well stocked supermarket. A great base for summer walks or winter skiing, booking was easy and the owner extremely helpful - highly recommended

(-: Voici un logement qui change des appart exigu rencontrés habituellement en station de ski :-) - Quelques éléments ont vieilli depuis 2012 (plaque de cuisson et meubles de salle de bain) mais globalement l'appartement est en très bon état. - Logement bien équipé : un grand four (in tartiflette we trust), appareil à raclette, lave-linge, sèche-linge,... les jeunes parents apprécieront ! - Salon : à contrario, la pièce à vivre peut paraître petite pour un appartement de 90m2 mais encore une fois c'est bien mieux qu'ailleurs et il y a de la place pour tout le monde dans les canapés/fauteuils Le propriétaire est réactif et parle français (ou plutôt écrit)... Seul bémol : la literie sinon j'aurai mis 5 étoiles Encore merci pour le séjour !

Wij hebben genoten van deze accommodatie. Het is een prima appartement voor 6 personen 3 slaapkamers met alle een eigen badkamer. Super terras. Jammer dat het grootste deel van ons verblijf het onophoudelijk regende. Pluspunt afstand is maar 50 meter naar de gondel, prima ski gebied voor beginners.

Le proprietaire a tenu compte des critiques passées. Il a rajouté 2 chaises. La TV a un decodeur TNT français. Il y a un petit congelateur. Par contre impossible d'avoir le WIFI sauf au café voisin. Le réseau de telephone ne fonctionne que sur orange. La vue sur le lac est prise de l'étage au-dessus, Au 1° étage, on voit peu le lac caché par des maisons. Mais la terrasse est immense et bien agréable, s'il fait beau.

L'appartement a une vue fabuleuse sur le Léman , il est très agréable ( 3 salles de bain) et très bien équipé. Sa proximité directe avec les pistes ( pas utilisée évidemment cette semaine de Covid) et avec les chemins de rando en fait un lieu de séjour formidable. Nous y avons passé , à 5 , une semaine géniale.

Die Wohnung ist groß und geräumig, liegt zentral im Ort. Sie hat einen großen Balkon mit einem schönen Ausblick zum Genfer See. Cool war, dass bei jedem der Schlafzimmer ein Bad/Dusche mit Klo dabei war. Die Küche ist gut mit reichlich Geschirr ausgestattet, nur ein größere Topf/Pfanne hat gefehlt. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen.

Nous avons réservé 2 semaines, du 25 Juillet au 8 Août... Appartement spacieux, fonctionnel, bien équipé, avec une terrasse immense . Situé au pied des télécabines,il nous a permis d aller faire quelques randonnées dans les hauteurs de Thollon les Memises ( pic des Memises,pic de Boré)...Un magasin d appoint est à 3min à pied...Une petite station où il fait bon vivre. Le seul petit bémol serait peut être l absence d'un petit congélateur. Propriétaire très réactif, répondant rapidement à nos demandes avant notre arrivée.

L'appartement est très agréable à l'intérieur et grand avec 90 m2 pour 6 De plus il y a une une grande terrasse avec une vue sur le Lac et nous avons apprécié d'avoir 3 Sdb pour 3 chambres. Lave linge et sèche linge utiles. Nous étions à 20 minutes du Lac ce qui est bien seul bémol petit frigo et pas de lave vaisselle

Mooi appartement, wat vooral fijn is dat het allemaal heel schoon is. Fantastisch groot balkon waarbij je altijd de keuze hebt of je in de zon of schaduw wilt zitten. Handige picknictafel met parasol om aan te eten, wat we wel misten op het balkon waren een paar comfortabele stoelen (gelukkig hadden we er zelf 2 meegenomen) Er is een wasmachine en droger aanwezig (ideaal), dit staat niet vermeld op de site 3 badkamers is ook heel fijn vooral als je met 6 personen bent. De eettafel is erg klein met 6 personen. Met 6 personen waren de pannen wel erg klein, een grote koekenpan en kookpan erbij is geen overbodige luxe. Prima oven waar we dankbaar gebruik van gemaakt hebben. De bedden zijn wel smal (140 cm) en kort (190 cm) en je voelt de veren er behoorlijk door, ondanks dat toch gelukkig prima geslapen. Supermarktje op loopafstand. Ondanks enkele (opbouwende) “kritiek”puntjes een heel fijn appartement waar we graag terug naar toe zouden gaan.

We stayed with 3 adults and 3 children for a week in this apartment. It is spacious, equipped with all conveniences and located in a perfect location. We have skied in Thollon les Memises, a perfect area for children. The apartment is very close to the gondola, ideal when you have to carry three pairs of children's skis and your own ... The apartment contains three bedrooms and three bathrooms, plenty of room for everyone. The living room / kitchen is relatively small for the apartment, but still large enough. The apartment was clean when we arrived, with plenty of towels and bedding provided. The presence of a washing machine and dryer is also ideal. The owner responds quickly to any questions and has even arranged a high chair for us. Thanks again! A ski locker on the ground floor is the only improvement I can think of, there is nothing else to be said about this apartment!

En termes de pièces disponibles, l'appartement correspond à ce qui est annoncé. La situation est sympathique (vue sur le lac, tranquillité, surtout en cette période ). En termes de confort il y a à redire : une seule pièce pour la cuisine, les repas, le repos. La table accueille difficilement 5 personnes, et il n'y a que 4 chaises disponibles. L'écran de télévision est superbe mais n'accueille que les chaines britanniques, sans possibilité de passer sur le réseau français... Enfin tous les placards sont pleins (cuisine et chambres), sans que l'on puisse y caser le moindre vêtement. Nous avons apprécié le geste relatif au vin d'accueil (dont nous n'avons pas abusé...). Bilan mitigé donc. Nous n'envisageons pas de récidive.
