About this villa rental
In central Italy, in the heart of the production area of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo wine, near the beaches of the Adriatic Sea and the verdant mountains of the National Park of Maiella, a cosy villa for your holidays, sleeps from 2 to 16 persons. A perfect place to relax, an ideal base to discover Italian art, wine food nature and touring.
The villa is entirely anti-seismic and eco-friendly. The walls are 80 cm thick with insulating coating and guarantee perfect insulation against both heat and cold.
The upstairs rooms are equipped with air conditioning.
The villa with all modern amenities, it offers comfortable and very spacious accommodation to an extended family group. Inside and outside, in the garden, free WIFI area.
Ground floor: a spacious rustic kitchen of about 30 square meters, with a large fireplace and two large cedar wood tables that can accommodate up to twenty people, is really a pleasant place for common life, led TV.
On the same floor there are three large bedrooms (each has a double bed and two also a single bed). Two bedrooms have a private bathroom with shower. The third has an external bathroom with shower.
The completely renovated kitchen has a dishwasher, oven, microwave, dishes, pots and pans, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, barbecue, sheets, blankets, towels, deck chairs, umbrellas, hot water, firewood, and everything you need. to live comfortably.
First Floor: From the external independent staircase, you go up and there are three bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other two with a double and a single bed. In one of the rooms there is a private bathroom, the other two have an external bathroom with shower.
A large living room of about 35sqm ensures a pleasant relaxation area with LED TV and armchairs. The dining area has a table and chairs for 8; Adjacent to the kitchen there is a pantry compartment. A pleasant veranda allows you to stop and relax or have breakfast. In the kitchen, oven, microwave, dishes, pots and pans, washing machine, dishwasher. Iron and ironing board, hairdryer, sheets, blankets, towels are also provided.
Hot water heated by solar panels and natural gas boiler reserve.
The garden is 3,000 square meters, it is all a free WIFI area
Beside the pool, beach, sun beds and umbrellas, and a gazebo with a large stone table.
In the outdoor area there are two barbecues with tables and chairs.
A second shower is located near the pool and is heated in sunlight.

Beautiful property. Perfect place for our large family traveling together. The host was very attentive, we were happy to have met him and his wife. If were in Abruzzo again we will stay here as it's fairly close to our family.

We had a wonderful stay. Dr Carlucci’s property is fantastic. Built by his grandfather and lovingly restored recently, Villa Carlucci met all of the needs of our American family while we visited our Abruzzese family. The many bedrooms and baths accommodated our children and grandchildren perfectly. The pool and grounds were an added bonus. We highly recommend Villa Carlucci, Dr and Mrs Carlucci and would definitely return. Mille grazie.

What a beautiful place to end our travels in Italy. The region of Abruzzo is stunning and the villa is well appointment and ideal for a large group to spread out. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with everything needed to prepare and enjoy meals indoors or a La fresco in the lovely gardens. We visited during Pasquetta and were so well taken care of by Silviu and his wife who own a little cafe and pizzeria in town, the pizza was some of the best we had. There is so much to see in the neighboring towns and we highly recommend the hike to see the Cascada di San Giovanni. Although we were visiting while the pool was not open we still were able to enjoy sitting on the lounge furniture to relax and take in the sunshine. We highly recommend staying here and wish we could have had a few more days to take in more of the sights of the area.

Villa Carlucci does have the potential to be an excellent holiday villa , however , the listing description is not altogether accurate . As there were eleven in our group , ten adults and a baby , we availed of the ground floor and first floor .This villa really only suits one group as there is no separate entrance to the first floor , the two entrances are on the ground floor . While there is a large rustic kitchen on the ground floor it actually translates into a small poky cooking area .The kitchen on the first floor is better .The bed linen was not changed even though we were there for two weeks . Granted , we did wash the linen ourselves because the linen room was locked ! The daily maid service did not materalise . The microwave was not supplied .The roof of the villa was advertised as a spacious terrace equipped as solarium for the use of guests - not so - the door leading up to it was locked . It lmight have been dangerous anyway but it is misleading advertising .I regret to say that the swimming pool was a disgrace . It was actually a horrible shade of green . Imagine our disgust in discovering that the pool surround was supposed to be white .We arrived on a Saturday and the following Tuesday - 3 days into our fortnight's holiday , we were informed that the pool needed to be drained . Having been told that it takes six hours to drain it and four days to refill it we were not impressed .I explained that the swimming pool was a huge factor in us booking the villa and that it should have been emptied , cleaned and refilled before we arrived . What really annoyed us was being told that it was checked on Saturday before we arrived and that it was okay .That amount of green scum took some time to accumulate and does not grow overnight .However we had to persevere with the green pool as the nearest beach at 20 kilometres was not an option . Apart from the pool the rest of the property was excellently maintained . The owner did provide a good enough service .I would recommend this villa to others because we enjoyed it to a certain degree.The holiday was good but it could have been brilliant if the pool was clean and everything listed was accurate and supplied .
