B & N Melas Studios

This place was perfect for me and the owner, Vasilis, was really kind and super-helpful with organising a taxi to pick me up from the airport and in checking the times of busses for my onward journey to Olympos. The accommodation is classic Greek "domatia" style, but it had everything I needed to fix breakfast in the morning and so incredibly clean you could have eaten off the floor! It is located on the outskirts of Amoopi, which means it is really quiet and peaceful, with a wonderful view over the sea. However, it is only about 6 or 7 minutes walk to Little Amoopi Beach, which is sandy and child-friendly. 2 beach beds + umbrella cost 20 euros for the day, but you can rent a bed only for 7 euros and can use the beach itself without paying - just follow the sign that says Amoopi Nymfes. Note, this also provides a useful shortcut if you want to walk into the central part of Amoopi, where the restaurants and supermarkets are. Thanks for a lovely stay, Vasilis!

It is about 20 or 25 minutes - mostly uphill - to the supermarkets and some of the restaurants, which may not suit you if you don't have a car, but, on a positive, its all downhill on the way back and it was a small price to pay for staying in such a great location.

Beautiful peacefull place ; with lovely owners ; great view. Spotlessly clean everytime.

Magnifico soggiorno ,stanza pulita ed accogliente ,con.vista sul mare meravigliosa l host gentile e cordiale .Da ritornare Karpatos è un isola magica .

L'host Vasilis ci ha fatti sentire completamente a nostro agio, sempre presente all'occorrenza con i suoi modi gentili. La posizione della struttura è molto tranquilla, ma vicinissima alle spiagge più belle della zona. La vista sul mare dal terrazzo è davvero spettacolare.
