Corinne was very pleasant and the flat was clean but we believed that it was self contained and this is not the case. We can find no mention online that the apartment is shared. We were hoping for a romantic few days in Paris and the presence of someone else so close (there are only partition walls) was intrusive. If we had known that there was no real privacy we would never have gone. It needs to be clearer that this is only a bedroom with curtained glass windows which meant for any kind of private space we had to be in darkness. I’m sure this place is great for single travellers or those seeking company. Unfortunately we did not fall int9 those categories. we are a married couple who needed our own space.

We rented a room in this flat to kick off our exploration of France. Corinne was lovely and offered us good information for our stay. Our room was quite private and all of the hustle of Paris is effectively blocked out by the location. No fans or A/C yet, the flat remained cool and comfortable. Thanks for everything Corinne!

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay with Corinne. She was very helpful and a great host. We were a little concerned about being too noisy or disturbing her work, but ended up being gone most of the day. Great location with shops and restaurants nearby. Would stay again!

This property was lovely. It was comfortable, clean, cool and light with an artists flare. It was amazingly quiet while being in a great location. I was there during a August heat wave. With the fan provided I managed the heat, while my friends in other locations in Paris were sweltering. The hostess was very professional and accommodating. Even though she was away, she had local people available to help welcome me and show me around the apartment. On short notice she was willing to accommodate my request to add a guest. Highly recommended. If I have the opportunity to visit Paris again I would stay here.

My teenage daughter and I stayed here for three nights this past weekend (early June). Corinne was very prompt in our preliminary correspondence, and was there to meet us when we arrived. As others have noted, the kitchen is shared, but Corinne is very respectful of guests' privacy. She gave us great suggestions for patisseries nearby! There are many lively cafes and restaurants in the Republique area, and it's a 15-20 minute walk to Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est. Since we had a late flight Sunday evening and wanted to walk around the city during the day, Corinne was very accommodating by letting us leave our bags in the apartment until late afternoon. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We had a great time and a wonderful experience! Corinne was an exceptional host always striving to make sure our needs were met. She greeted us with coffee, helped us with our planning and even arranged a cab ride for us on our way home to the airport. The apartment is located in a nice neighborhood with lots to explore & friendly locals. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you again for everything Corinne!!

We can really recommend Corrine's place. You share the kitchen with her, but she's so diskret and very nice anyway. The location is amazing, in the midle of everything, and in the same time not a car sound in the flat. We loved the place and will be back. Thanks to Corinne for sharing her beautiful place. We had a lovely stay at Corrine's apartment. It is quiet despite the inner city location and it was very easy to get around. We either walked or took the Metro from Republique. Small playgrounds for children are close and many options for great food. The apartment stayed cool in the heat.
