We had a very enjoyable stay at Domaine du Calidianus. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well maintained, and the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of fresh options and, compared to many hotels in France, particularly impressive. We also loved the pool area, which was peaceful, well kept and perfect for relaxing.
The only downside was the sound insulation. We could hear plumbing and toilets being used in neighbouring rooms quite loudly, which was occasionally disruptive, especially during the night. The hotel is also a little further from the centre of Sainte-Maxime than we expected. The walk is manageable, but in hot weather it can feel quite long.
