The rooms and bathroom are spacious , air conditioned, and clean and comfortable

They should give 2 bottles of water per day instead of one.

The staff were all very helpful , friendly and professional .

One of the staff we met at breakfast everyday was wonderful. I think his name was Emeris. So friendly and helpful. He was the highlight of our stay at the hotel.

The front desk staff were not good. Very unfriendly. No eye contact when you spoke to them, very poor communication skills, they stepped away to have lengthy conversations with other staff members while they were dealing with us, or to answer a phone. There were also too many hidden charges added to the Booking.com price. A €22.50 per person additional charge, for quite an ordinary breakfast. Which was not special at all. Ridiculously expensive. We paid Parking charges per night! And paid an additional €50 per night for a room with a balcony. None of these additional charges were evident, or at least obvious, when we made the booking. We visit family twice a year in Gijon, but we will not be using this hotel again.
