Enjoyable peaceful stay in a unique hotel, warmly recommended even if a little pricey.

Enjoyed the period property with the high ceilings and tasteful furnishings in a great location for us attending an event nearby. Staff was excellent and the breakfast was very beautifully presented, generous and tasty.

We asked for a double bed; we had two mattresses, joining in the middle, but the quality of one of the mattresses was not as good as the other one. Nonetheless we slept soundly.

It was pleasant enough, but poor value for the money.

The decor in the room was nice and the hotel was clean.

This is a four story building with no elevator. They helped us carry our luggage upstairs, but the reception desk is only open during the day so there is no one to assist with anything after hours. Although the room was cleaned daily, the housekeeping was erratic. Some days more towels than other days, some days no toilet paper was left in the room.

Elegant rooms with wonderful staff.

We loved the classy rooms. The owners and staff were very sweet and hospitable. And the breakfast was wonderfully delicious. Also a bonus that buses, subways, and trains were nearby. Another bonus was that the botanical gardens are also a short distance away as well!

Very nice charming hotel. Staff was very kind and helpful. Room quiet and with a nice view on the street. Comfortable bed, nice linen and overall atmosphere in the room.

Room on top floor without elevator (this should not have been a surprise, but I did not pay attention in advance).

Beautiful old world style and design and friendly staff

Beautifully decorated, clean and friendly. Every detail had been thought of and decorated with very good taste that complimented the style of the building. Absolutely loved the front terrace for sitting outside in the evening.

Unfortunately we found climbing the stairs to the 4th floor a nuisance as my husband has bad knees. I also appreciate it is not easy to build a lift into an old townhouse without ruining the style.

Good hotel in an superb location

I used to live in Westend, and thought Liebigstraße the nicest street - and I had noticed this hotel as well. The hotel did not disappoint. My room had a balcony overlooking the street, among the green trees... I would happily have spent more time in my room. Recommended.

The hotel should not try to steer people into ordering breakfast without mentioning that it's not included in the price. (would have been €16, I believe!)

Friendly family run hotel in a lovely residential part of Frankfurt

I was the only guest in the hotel, which is a new experience. The hotel manager / owner was kind enough to keep the hotel open for me. The amenities are good, the rooms are spacious and everything is very clean.

Due to Covid restrictions and the fact that I was the only guest, there was no breakfast served, but there is a cafe just around the corner, so no problem. Also, beware that there is no elevator in the hotel, so if you have heavy luggage, be warned.

Eine Wohlfühloase, kein Hotelzimmer.

Familiäre Athmosphäre, wunderschöne stilvolle Altbauzimmer, entspanntes feines Frühstück und sehr zuvorkommende Inhaber. Ich bin immer hier, wenn ich in Frankfurt zu tun habe und genieße es.

zona quieta, proprietario davvero molto gentile. colazione dalle 7 in poi, utile circa 1 km a piedi da metropolitana U2

mancanza di ascensore, con delle valigie pesanti sarebbe un problema visto che ci sono 3 o 4 piani di scale difficioltà di parcheggio nell'area
