MARITIM Hotel Amelia - Luxury Ultra All Inclusive

We really love the location. The beach is wide and beautiful, the sea is clear, and there are always plenty of free sunbeds, so it never feels crowded. The swimming pool is also very nice. Another thing we really appreciate is that there are no loud entertainment programs or noisy animation activities. We prefer a peaceful and relaxing holiday, and this hotel offers exactly that.

We have been coming to this hotel for three years in a row. We used to love it, but this year we really noticed a significant decline. Back in 2023, we were welcomed with champagne. The restaurant offered red caviar, a huge wheel of cheese where pasta was served and mixed inside, a wide variety of fish, and many other delicious dishes. This year, however, the restaurant was a big disappointment. There was practically no fish (I don't count a few pieces of cheap fish), the menu was mostly pork, there was very little chicken, the watermelon was tasteless and overripe, the grapes were unripe and green, and even the cherries were sour—in July, when they should already be perfectly ripe. Overall, there was very little worth eating. During our four-day stay, our room wasn't cleaned on two days, and the coffee capsules for the coffee machine were not replenished. When I asked at reception, I was simply told, "Sorry, I don't have any capsules." The room also had an unpleasant smell, and the bathroom door was very difficult to open. Overall, the hotel is still livable, but it is no longer the standard it used to be. At the moment, one night booked through Booking.com costs around €550, and it is definitely not worth that price.

Amazing beach, clean water, spacious space on the beach, in the center of the town. The room is spacious and the bathroom is very nicely divided. The indoor mineral pool was very nice!

The food wasn’t very diverse and not very tasty. It was advertised that 6 out of 7 night there are themed dinners, and we could not identify those nights at all. The food was not bad, we were never sick or anything like that, but it wasn’t diverse or very tasty. We took one à la carte dinner to the Italian restaurant and the drinks were not included. We checked in on Sunday and until Tuesday our room was never vacuumed, the bathroom was never cleaned, and the sheets had not been changed. The only daily cleaning was making the beds, changing the towels and refilling the water and minibar. On Tuesday I called to ask when will they clean and they said they clean every 3 days. On Wednesday again the room was not vacuumed, the bathroom was not cleaned and the sheets were not changed so I called again and they said they will solve it tomorrow. On Thursday the room was finally cleaned and sheets changed (and never again until the checkout). The minibar in the room had one beer, one kids juice and from the 3rd day one cola. There was only one 1 litre bottled water in the room (everyday, one bottle was added). When we went to ask at the reception for more we were told that we can get glasses of water from the bar, if we want more bottled water we could go to the supermarket and buy. We had to find out ourselves that on each floor there were water dispensers (only for still water, the sparkling water was only available at the bars). The staff (especially the reception staff) was highly untrained and unprepared. They could barely answer any of the questions we had. The facilities were not very well explained, we received a sheet of paper with the schedule, the available facilities, but for example the indoor pool was in the other hotel, and this was not mentioned on the paper, nor by the staff at the check in. We had to ask afterwards.
