About this house rental
Log home perched on a forested hillside with mountain views boasts character and charm. Built in 1938 with an ideal location has private hot tub! Located 7 blocks from historic downtown Whitefish with great restaurants, musical events, shopping and 45 min. to Glacier National Park. Great views of Big Mountain can be seen from the large decks where you can relax and enjoy a little piece of mountain life.

There aren't many places where you feel you are in the mountains (great views from the deck) yet you can walk to town and are just a block from the Safeway. You really don't feel like you are in the city. Grandkids loved the tether ball, the yard, and access to the river where they tubed. We hiked in Glacier (half hour from the entrance), enjoyed the Tuesday Farmer's Market, the rodeo at the Blue Moon and Huckleberry Days just to name just a few of the activities in Whitefish and surrounding area. The location and amenities in the house couldn't have been better,. House is well stocked and we took advantage of the grill. This was our third summer in Whitefish and we would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time! Would consider coming back. A lot of deer and turkeys… our own petting zoo🤣

We had a great time in Whitefish, MT! We were traveling with my family and 2 young children (ages 4 and 2). The large fenced in yard and playhouse were perfect for the kids. It was also close to a nearby park and a paved trail along the Whitefish River, which was very nice!
