I had a pleasant stay at Zefyr Hotel. I really appreciated the 24-hour front desk, which is very convenient, and the fact that breakfast is included. Another big plus is the free parking and the excellent location close to the ferry, which makes it ideal if you’re traveling onward.
The staff were very polite and helpful. They even allowed me to leave my car in the parking lot after check-out until it was time to take the ferry, which I truly appreciated.
Unfortunately, the internet connection was extremely poor. Calling it “terrible” would be an understatement — I had to switch to my roaming mobile data just to browse the internet normally.

Our bedroom was tidy, modern and quiet. Beds were comfortable with a good firm mattress. Plenty of space in the room and a handy set of power outlets. The shared bathroom was clean with a hot powerful shower.
Parking was right outside the hotel where there are several spaces and I believe there are more spaces around the side of the hotel. The hotel was easy to find.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out were both quick and trouble free.
Be aware that the hotel seems to share some rooms with the local hospital so you may see some patients there and there are some medical posters up on several the walls.

The hotel was simple, but it had everything you needed. A spacious and clean room, a fairly good breakfast (although I would appreciate having more fruit and veggies there) and a good price for Norwegian standards. Also I liked that the hotel had a big luggage room where we could store our things for free even after checking out.

Heating in the room not individual regulated. It was terribly hot all evening, even with open window. Finally went to the reception where they said they could lower the heating by computer. Would have been nice to know earlier when you are sweating in your bed. Worst facility: no black out windows, really bad sleep because of light most of the night. The curtains are basically see through. Because of a football match in toen the price was more than twice it is normal. Not realistic but was forced since nothing else available.
