It's a cosy apartment for 2 people in an old countryfarm in a small village. It’s a wonderful place to enjoy nature and the quietness around you. It’s also a nice place to start walking and cycling tours or to visit the sightseeings in the neighbourhood.

The apartment is newly built in 2009 in the farmhouse. The authentic elements of the farm are maintained as much as possible. It has the atmosphere of past times, while guests will find everything they need for a pleasant stay. Outside there is plenty of space and nature, a covered parking space and a bicycle shed. There's a lot of space outside which offers plenty of privacy. Guests can place the garden furniture as they wish. There is shade and sun. Guests have their own entrance.

Guests are welcomed by the owner personally. If possible, he brings the guests during their stay some fruit or vegetables from the organic garden. Guests may always turn for information or advice to the owner. The main thing is that the guests can enjoy peace and quietness.

Benneveld is a quiet village with the status of a protected village. There are no shops, but a supermarket is a few miles away. In villages nearby bicycles can be rented. Benneveld is within the only Geopark the Netherlands knows. The Geopark Hondsrug tells the story of what man and nature have created together and offers guests a unique landscape.

In Benneveld is no public transport. If you travel by public transport, you can be picked up, in consultation with the owner, at the railway station or busstop nearby.

Benneveld is located a few hundred meters from a large nature reserve. This provides an opportunity for lovely walks. If you like cycling, then you will not be disappointed. The province of Drenthe is known for its many cycle-tracks.
