True ski lodge ! No frills. Lots.of equipment storage and even a tuning room with all the supplies to wax your board. The staff was welcoming and the lounge on the mainfloor with the bar was really nice to visit with other folks. One of the better continental breakfasts ive had aswell.

The property has an indoor onsen and a relaxing living area. The rooms are cozy, with both Japanese and Western-style beds, making it perfect for families. A washing machine with detergent is also available in the onsen area, which was very convenient.

Generous room, warm, wonderful views, close proximity to the pink bunny lift. Initially we thought daily walks up and down the hill to Morino/ to the lift and Main Street/village eateries would be tiresome but it was not. Made much easier by hiring at Myoko snow sports. Leave skis and poles overnight and regular shoes during the day meaning that all you do is carry your boots. Be aware that the operation of the lodge depends on (mostly) young Australians enjoying the season boarding/skiing in return for rostered tasks maintaining/serving paying guests, in return for full board and a nominal hourly rate. There are inadequate spaces for them to disconnect and isolate from guests. Their presence is obvious in the Onsen (includes two washing machines) and the bar area etc. it is not a Japanese experience in any way. Breakfast is scrambled eggs, toast, etc. but big shout out to their pizzas and generous servings of wine. Thumbs down for the cleanliness of the outdoor Onsen.
