A lovely place to stay, very well presented, lots of character combined with modern amenities and located in an idyllic region. Yves and Pascale were excellent hosts and I would thoroughly recommend staying here!

We spent an awsome week at Gite Mas Sophia with a lot of hiking, swimming, canoeing and BBQ.
As the appartement is perfectly equiped plus there's a WEBER grill available outdoor you may enjoy all culinary varieties you're into.
And watch out: As Pascale does grow their own tomatoes, cucumbers and figs, you may get lucky and find some of these fresh homegrowns on you frontdoor some days!
The place is very quite and at night the Family dog "Django" is watching your sleep - during daytime he's enjoying the sun as you should, too.
Finally the surrounding: We preferred swimming in the river "Beaume" instead of the crowded Ardeche, but both opportunities are just some minutes away, so up to you to test both.
Food-Shopping is abt. 15mins away, a nice Restaurant in Labeaume abt. 10mins by car or 30mins walking distance.

Un accueil respectueux des règles de sécurité et la bienveillance de nos charmants hôtes ne pouvaient que présager d'un agréable séjour.
La maison était parfaite, rien ne manquait. La décoration chic, une bâtisse ancienne restaurée avec goût ,le calme des lieux et les conseils de visites de Pascale et Yves, tout était là.
Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Die Wohnräume der ehemaligen Seidenraupenzucht aus dem 18. Jahrhundert wurden stilsicher renoviert und so zu einem sehr schönen und komfortablen Feriendomizil für zwei, möglicherweise mit kleinem Kind. Das großzügige Schlafzimmer mit großem Bett und sehr schöner großer Bettdecke hat zwar 2 Fenster, von denen man, wie in einer der vorhergehenden Rezensionen beschrieben, durch eines theoretisch hineinschauen könnte, aber über blickdichte Vorhänge hat man das selbst in der Hand.
Das moderne Bad hat neben der vielzitierten Regendusche mit zusätzlichem Handteil, die sich in Temperatur und Wassermenge hervorragend dosieren lässt, ein Waschbecken und eine Toilette. Der Warmwasservorrat erscheint unerschöpflich.
Das Internet ist mit 144MBit üppig dimensioniert.
Der vielzitierte Hund ist ausgesprochen umgänglich (und wir sind sonst keine großen Hundefreunde) und sehr unkompliziert zu handhaben. Ebenfalls unkompliziert sind die freundlichen Vermieter, deren Bio-Seifenherstellung sich anzuschauen lohnt.
Die Umgebung ist selbstredend der Hammer. Sehr bewundernswert fanden wir das Hauptdorf Labeaume, schöner noch als die "schönsten Dörfer Frankreichs" Balazuc und Vogüé wenige km die Ardèche hinauf.
Die Vanille-Éclairs im "Le Défilé des Pains" im nahen Ruoms sind die besten Éclairs, die ich je gegessen habe, und ich halte mich auf diesem Gebiet für fortgeschritten. Sie beinhalten Creme statt Pudding. Superlecker.
Man kann diese Unterkunft in dicken Gemäuern unbesehen mieten und wird eine sehr schöne Zeit verbringen. Viel Spaß dabei!
Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par Pascale et Yves qui ne manquent pas d’attentions pour faire plaisir.Le gîte,refait à neuf,est particulièrement bien équipé ,dans un environnement apaisant. Notre semaine de vacances fut réussie,merci à tous les deux.

Le cadre, le gite typiquement Ardéchois tout confort, la convivialité de Pascale & Yves accompagnée de leurs conseils avisés, la balade dans les gorges de la Beaume le matin avant les fortes chaleurs, etc.
Ce séjour a été un moment de plénitude et pour prolongé ces merveilleux instants nous avons emporté dans nos bagages la senteur de la lavande par le biais des savons Bio fait maison.

Un grand merci à Pascale, Yves et leur fils Gaëtan pour leur accueil si chaleureux et tous leurs précieux conseils pour découvrir la région.
Gaëtan nous a même guidé lors d'une promenade mémorable autour de la rivière, accessible à pied depuis le gîte.
Le gîte est charmant, propre et fonctionnel . Très bonne literie et cuisine bien équipé.
Par ailleurs, l'emplacement est idéal pour sillonner l'Ardèche.
Nous recommandons très vivement cette adresse.

Wir haben in der ehemaligen historischen Seidenfabrikation zwei wunderbare und erholsame Wochen verbracht.
Die Ferienwohnung war noch schöner, als wie es uns vorgestellt haben. Es war alles toll eingerichtet und wir haben nichts vermisst.
Yves, Pascale und Gaeton- mein kleiner Französischlehrer der Familie- haben uns immer freundlich, witzig, nie zu aufdringlich aber immer mit dem Servicegedanken im Hinterkopf, begleitet. So wünscht man sich eine Urlaubsbetreuung. Nicht zu vergessen, der treue Wachhund Django!
Die ruhige, aber zentrale Lage der Gite führte uns in den 14 Tagen an alle bekannten und unbekannten Orte und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Von hier aus kann man alles gut erreichen.
Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt, nur das Abendessen unter dem Feigenbaum inklusive Sonnenuntergang werden wir vermissen. Und die vielen Sonnentage an den tollen Flüssen rings herum. Und den Jacuzzi. Und den Pool. Und…
Wir wünschen der tollen Familie weiterhin viel Erfolg und viele nette Gäste!
We spent two wonderful and relaxing weeks here in Champrenard.
The gite was even more beautiful than we had imagined. It was all very well decorated and we did not miss anything.
Yves, Pascale, and Gaeton - my little French teacher-have always been friendly, funny, never too obtrusive but always service minded.
This is holiday !. Not to forget, the faithful guard dog Django!
The quiet but central location of the gite passed us to all known and unknown places and sights. From here you can easily reach everything.
We will miss the dinner under the fig tree including sunset. And the many sonny days on the great rivers around. And the jacuzzi. And the pool. And…
We wish the great family a lot of success and many nice guests!

Le Gite était encore plus beau que ce nous avions imaginé. Tout était très bien décoré et nous ne manquions rien.
Yves, Pascale et Gaeton - mon petit professeur de français - ont toujours été très sympathiques, drôles, toujours attentionnés.
Ce sont des vacances!
A ne pas oublier, le fidèle chien de garde Django!
L'emplacement calme mais central du gîte nous a transmis à tous les lieux et curiosités connus et inconnus. De là, vous pouvez facilement tout atteindre.
Nous manquerons le dîner sous le figuier. Et les nombreux jours ensolleillé sur les grands fleuves autour. Et le jacuzzi. Et la piscine. Et…

La grille du Mas Sophia s'ouvre sur une demeure splendide toute de pierre et sur les sourires d'accueil chaleureux de Pascale et Yves. Ils nous font découvrir le lieu où nous avons choisi de vivre notre séjour à proximité du très beau village de Labeaume.
Immédiatement la magie s'opère! L'atmosphère des vieilles pierres tellement respectées et la sensation de confort moderne et très élégant nous font chaud au cœur !Un si beau lieu ne peut être que l'œuvre que de très belles personnes!! Pascale, Yves et Gaëtan nous offrent leur présence attentive et chaleureuse, leur couradou ombragé où séchait jadis la soie, leur jolie piscine, la table sous le figuier où nous profitons de soirées douces ponctuées des appels d'un petit duc familier de la maison et des bavardages complices avec Gaëtan...quelques tomates, figues sucrées comme un présent des dieux...leurs conseils pertinents et l'un ou l'autre petit morceau de leur vie dans cette magnifique magnanerie à laquelle ils rendent par leur travail une si belle seconde vie.
Devons-nous ajouter que nous y avons été tellement heureux?
