About this villa rental
Situation:
This private estate, whose real name is "Es Llogaret", has a large plot of land and is located 3km along a paved rural road from the town of Alaior, where you can do your shopping and find various craft shops and production centres of the famous Mahón Cheese. Beaches, both from the south and north, are less than 15 minutes driving, as well as the city of Mahón. It is essential to have a vehicle.
Exterior:
Although dating from the 19th century, it has been completely renovated, maintaining its original structure and typical Menorcan style. The exterior area is pleasant and spacious, with views of the prehistoric monument of Torre d'en Gaumés. On one side, next to the main facade, there is a built-in barbecue, with a built-in table to eat in the shade. On the other side, there is a natural shade area (wild olive trees) next to the kitchen door, with a table and wooden benches. Here there are also children's games (swings and slide). The pool (11m x 6m, and purification by electrolysis) has a special fenced area for children, is surrounded by grass and there is also a table with chairs under the pergola. In this area there is also a bathroom and a shower. Likewise, there is a paved area with a basketball hoop and another covered area to shelter two cars. A hiking route has also been adapted, which circumnavigates within the same property a route of about 1,500 metres.
Interior:
The house has two floors and is very well decorated with numerous details and restored furniture, including a period piano in due condition for use.
Ground Floor: large hall, living room, kitchen, dining room, 1 master bedroom with en-suite shower, 1 double bedroom with en-suite shower (wheelchair accessible), 1 master bedroom, 1 double bedroom, 1 full bathroom and 1 bathroom with shower. This floor is equipped with radial heating for the coldest months.
First Floor: 1 master bedroom, 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower and a leisure lounge, with computer and Internet connection.

Finca Toni, Llogarets is a beautiful old finca that has rustic charm yet has everything to make your holiday memorable. As it is still a family home, it is equipped with much more than most holiday rentals. The resident donkeys, sheep, poultry and tortoises all added to our enjoyment, particularly the children. We were encouraged to explore the 35 hectares of the fincas surrounding land together with its own private panel tennis facilities, huge swimming pool and lawned gardens. There are many other shady wooded areas for those needing extra solitude or shade. The owners are so friendly and charming too. We would love to return.

We enjoyed the farmhouse. It provided a great family base for our week in Menorca. It is very close to friends of our in Alaoir which was unexpected.
The most difficult part was finding the house on our arrival as the information listed and the name on the main gates are different.
We also really loved the donkeys! We wiuld love to stay again. Thank you for our holiday.

We have just arrived home after a wonderful family holiday at Finca Toni. The property matched my expectations and truly offered our family (14 in total - MNK Villas, who manage the property allowed two additional occupants as one was a baby and the other a 2 year old) the perfect space for a relaxed holiday. I think the success was the fact that the property offers so much space for everyone to explore / find something to do. Fantastic pool, table tennis table, shaded kids play area, basket ball court (a little run down, but great nonetheless) and tennis courts. And simple things such as the pool having a poolside shower and toilet was perfect.
Similarly inside the property the open plan living space works well with a large group and all bedrooms were a good size with plenty of modern bathrooms. An added bonus was the unexpected wildlife - sheep and donkeys in the neighboring fields, chickens (slight warning, keep your windows shut if you don't want to woken by the cockerels at 5am!) and lots of tortoises roaming free! Despite the property being inland there are plenty of wonderful beaches within short driving distance, as well as the stunning harbour of Mahon.
Finally MNK Villas, who manage the property, were extremely helpful in all aspects of the booking including accommodating an early check in and late check out to the best of their abilities. Truly fantastic stay.
