This property was clean and everything we needed for a 5 day stay.
The downside for us was no door to the garden from the sitting room. However had weather been warmer it might have been more annoying.

Great location near the beach just a brisk walk from Berwick upon tweed. The apartment was freshly decorated and the furnishings were very comfortable and clean
The heating wasn’t on when we arrived and it was very cold and took a while to warm up. The owner has assured me that it should have been on but I think the timer had been set incorrectly!

The beach was lovely and only a 1 min walk from the property
Bed was comfortable
Kitchen well equipped
Village was nice, friendly people, location and surrounding area was spot on.
There was 2 adults and a dog staying here..
The reviews all mentioned how clean the property was so i was saddened that when we arrived, the property hadn't been cleaned to an even medium standard
There had been no hoovering at all so my first job was sweeping and hoovering all the floors, the bathroom, kitchen, living room and entrance, all had dirty floors, you could hear the stones being sucked into the hoover, not acceptable really, im on holiday, and paying over £500 for 3 nights, I expect cleanliness!!
bedroom floor was OK.
The entrance hall was filthy and hasn't been touched.
The kitchen sides still had crumbs on them, kitchen floor had a sticky patch

Courtyard wasn't pleasant to sit in as there is a very aggressive dog living next door, which nobody else has mentioned so maybe we just had all the bad luck?
The dog was jumping up at windows and trying to get throtgh the fence, barking, growling, snarling and showing its teeth at my dog, owner was oblivious in educating this dog.
Property was unbearable because of the heat, had to buy a fan.
Property was always dark but i appreciate nothing can be done about that because of the building style
Cooker has no markings on it so really dangerous, cant tell what setting or temp you have things on, for safety, we turned it off by the fuse in the bedroom.
Before I leave anywhere I stay, Hotels or cottages, I always thoroughly clean up and strip the bed, I have tidied the kitchen but have not hoovered because of the state of it when we arrived, ive left the hoover out as I dont think tbe cleaners were aware of where it was kept.
Just gutted really as previous reviews dont match our experience
