We have been vacationing in Croatia for 8 years, from Istria to Dalmatia. This vacation was extraordinary – a small, clean, modest yet cozy house right by a beach with the clearest water. A former fishing village, heartwarming hosts, and great wine – what more could you ask for?

We love the remote place and we hope to come back. Slow down, swim, enjoy the sea view, catch sight of dolphins. Life can not be better.

The accommodation is in a very short distance (literally few steps) from the sea. This is a rocky beach with concrete blocks for sunbathing and easy access to the water by stainless steel stairs. The appartments is clean and spacy enough for 4 persons. Both bedrooms have large and comfortable beds, kitchen well equipped with utensils, bathroom with a plenty of towels and hot water always available. Outside BBQ available and wood provided. Wonderful terrace with a large table for outside dining. Potočine is a small remote and quiet hamlet with few other tourist appartments. Outside the peak season you may have a good chance to be the only people there just as we were during our stay. There is no infrastructure like shops, restaurants or bars in Potočine. The nearest option is the village Potomje in 3 km (and 250 metres in elevation) where you can find a local supermarket with a basic food supply, nice restaurant and a plenty of wineries where you can taste and buy great local wines. The appartment owner Boris and his wife are nice and kind hosts, they also run their own winery with wonderful wines - highly recommended!
