Beautiful rooms and camp, we even got a free upgrade to the riverfront tent. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. Game drive guides are highly knowledgeable and experienced.

We had such a wonderful stay at this camp and genuinely felt so welcomed from the moment we arrived. Ellajah gave us the warmest welcome and made us feel at home straight away. A very special thank you to Emmanuel and Lilian — not only are they fantastic game drivers and incredibly knowledgeable, but they are also such kind, warm and genuine people. We had the best time with them on safari, and they made the whole experience even more memorable. The entire team at the camp was incredibly friendly, attentive and welcoming throughout our stay. There was such a warm and personal atmosphere, and we really felt that everyone cared about making our time there special. We’re leaving with so many amazing memories and would happily come back. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay in the Maasai Mara so special! ❤️

Everything was perfect

Eine wunderschöne Lodge direkt am Mara River. Vom super luxuriösen Zelt aus konnte man Nilpferde, Krokodile, Elefanten, Zebras und viele andere Tiere bestaunen. Es gab hervorragendes Essen. Der Manager, Herr Katam Elisha, hat uns einen wundervollen Aufenthalt beschert. Am Abreisetag wurden wir mit einem traditionellen Tanz verabschiedet. Nochmals herzlichen Dank für die tolle Zeit!!! ❤️

Wow. This is a little piece of paradise, situated in an amazing location, overlooking the river and families of hippos from an elevated position. Really nice large swimming pool, which had just been renovated. Our luxurious accommodation within the large beautiful grounds was private, spotless and catered for every need. Comfortable double bed, free reliable WiFi in the room, superb shower with toiletries and dressing gowns provided. Even nice little daily touches such as a daily turndown and chocolates on the pillows. I have travelled extensively and never received such a warm unique welcome anywhere else in the world. The food was plentiful and delicious, catering for every need, including dietary requirements, vegan and vegetarian. Nothing was too much trouble. Drink prices were very cheap by any standard. Every single member of staff that we encountered from the manager, assistant manager, reception, restaurant, housekeeper, chef and security were outstanding. You are all a credit to the Mara River Camp and the hospitality business. We arranged 2 private half day game drive safaris and a Mara balloon ride via the camp itself. These appeared to be very good value compared with what was offered elsewhere. Our guide Pesi was a brilliant driver and very passionate guide, ensuring that we didn’t miss anything. Both the game drives and balloon ride should not be missed. This is a gem of a place, which I cannot recommend highly enough. It is beautiful and very reasonably priced in comparison to other lodges in the Mara area. Thank you so much to Elisha and his team for an incredible stay with bucket list memories.
