Only good thing ia the hotel location was close to airport
I have a complaint on reception staff gentleman named "Said". Upon my arrival on 02/06/2023 at 10:09 pm he forced me to pay for the room in Colombian Peso cash and didn't want to accept my US Dollars. Then he asked for a equivalent of US$92 after I rrqueated paying is USD, and when I paid my US$100 note he retracted and claimed that the new amount is increased to US$105 instead. I felt like he is taking advantage of me being a foreign tourist with my wife. This really made me feel very upset and very angry. I'm not happy with his service and unhelpful attitude.
At the end he insisted on taking all my Colombian Pesos cash in my wallet instead of taking the original US$92 equivalent. This has caused me the hassle of going in the mornining to exchange shop to obtain Colombian Pesos to pay taxi to airport. I really regret staying in your Sheraton Bogota and will not recommend it to anyone from my country in the future. It's a pitty that Sheraton puts such type of unhelpful staff member at the reception desk dealing with costumers.
