Agriturismo Sant'Alfredo

We stayed in Sant'Alfredo for 11 nights in September. We used Sant'Alfredo as our base to travel and see the beautifull towns of Tuscany. Sant'Alfredo is an ideal place to stay as it is central, and it is only 15 mins south of Sienna, you are only approx one hours drive from all of the main Tuscan towns, like Volterra, San Gimignano, Certaldo, Florence, Montalchino, Montepulciano and Pienza, and the fanatastic Geothermal Springs of Terme San Filippo. Sant'Alfredo is your typical beautiful quaint Tuscan farm, with perfectly kept gardens. Our apartment was very spacious, it had 2 bedrooms, one room with a double Bed and ensuite bathroom and one room with 2 single beds, there is also another common bathroom, the apartment also had a living room and a kitchen, the apartment is perfect for a family, very well equipped. The swimming pool is one of the most beautifully set pools I have ever enjoyed, it is situated in a grove of magnificent Italian Cypress pines with a majestic view of the rolling Tuscan Hills. As for the host and owner, Frederico, he could not have done any more for us. Anything we needed he catered for, he was an absolute gentleman, he always had time to chat and answer our 100 questions on Italian farming and wine production. We even got a hands on experience in the first decant of the wine. He took time out to bring us on the white road and visit a monastary that we would never have known about as it is off the beaten track. If you want to immerse yourself and experiance what it really is to live and breath in Tuscany this is it. It is a 10/10 from us, and we will defiinitely be back

Fabuleux séjour chez Federico! L'accueil fût extrêmement chaleureux. Federico s'est accueillir ses hôtes avec professionnalisme, très attentionné et soucieux du moindre détail. La situation et le logement étaient parfaits: paisible, propre et confortable. Nous avons apprécié la belle piscine, très bien entretenue ainsi que les extérieurs du domaine. Rien ne manquait à notre séjour. Je vous recommande fortement cet hébergement.
