Central Sea View Apartment

Location was good ... Appartment was well appointed and airy with nice views from the balcony . One downside was the noise made during the day from ongoing maintenance work to the cladding below the first floor overhang... this went on all weekdays during the two week stay . There are some minor leaks from pipe work and drains in the on-suite bathroom that need attention .

This is a really nice property set in a great location, easy access by bus to Funchal Centre, walking distance to some great restaurants, lido and shopping centre. Can be a little noisy in the rear bedrooms with the buses passing by and would benefit from some softer pillows (I know this is personal preference!). Overall, a great place to stay and we would return.

The apartment is spacious, well appointed, clean and comfortable. The balcony is large and the view is beautiful, as shown in the photos. The apartment is in a great location - easy walking distance to restaurants and the seaside pedestrian walkway is just outside the door. The owner was very prompt to respond and helpful with all questions. I would highly recommend this apartment and would stay here again.

Apartment was beautiful, well located for food, taxi, bus, shopping etc. Was nicely decorated, roomy and property manager was very helpful. However, there were little things that added up and made the stay not as pleasant as it should have been. The apartment had ac in almost every room which is often rare. However the ones in the bedrooms never stayed on past 2hrs so it got hot at night and we had to keep waking up to turn it back on. The mattress in the master bedroom needed to be updated as large dips in it made it hard to get comfortable. The master bathroom while small did not work well and not well equipped. The shower-head sprayed water everywhere, it had a moldy mat in it to keep from slipping but we didn’t use it, and there was only one small toilet paper roll that didn’t last past a couple of days. The other bathroom was nice and large however both bathrooms never had enough warm water after one 10 minute bath and could not be used at the same time. Was annoying and disappointing.
