Casa Asprón

Casa Asprón is a delightful and charming property. The owners are very sweet and take great care of guests. It is that personal touch that sets the property apart from others. The location is peaceful, despite the proximity of the road, and the breakfast terrace is an oasis of calm. Breakfast, by the way, is very good and filling. The rooms are on the smaller side but well-appointed and kept clean. Fresh apples were left for us every day. WiFi is fast and there is plenty of overnight parking nearby. It is also an easy walk to the bus stops for the Lagos.

Nothing to complain about here! Well, maybe the guys with the chainsaws at 7am! Mountain life.

This was one of our favorite lodgings of our trip. It is a wonderful accommodation with a garden outside and a lovely breakfast and sitting room with tasteful decor. The location was great, close to Covadonga Lakes and Cangas de Onis for restaurants. We could see the Basilica de Santa Maria out our bedroom window and it was close enough to walk on a lovely pathway up to the sanctuary. The bus stop to Covadonga Lakes was a ten minute walk. We had the needed reservations for the bus in advance. The host was very friendly and gave very helpful information about the area and hikes at the lakes. He served an amazing and very generous breakfast, including fried eggs, breads, cheeses, meats, yogurt, cakes, freshly squeezed orange juice, and coffee. We would highly recommend this accommodation!
