A comfortable place to relax!

The place is very calm, the room quite classic (we got an appreciable upgrade) and comfortable. Our daughter of 5y old slept between us, but the large bed was sufficient for 3 to sleep well! The breakfast was very good, we really enjoyed! The place is also very quiet, with immediate place for a footing or biking.

It was not possible to rent bikes (while announced), so it’s better to bring your own bikes! Seems to be possible to rent some in the city. Restaurant was closed on Sunday, but the restaurant Zum Anglersee im Fischerheim did more than saving us because we had good fresh fishes.

A lovely stay

The restaurant served very delicious dinner. Quick and courteous. I like the spaciousness of the surrounding. Parking was free and available. Check in and check out process was quick. I like the room’s modern yet functional design. The bed was comfortable. I especially would like to commend the Hotel‘s honesty. They called me and let me know that some money needed to be returned to me, while I didn’t even realized that that was the case. Commendable gesture from the Hotel.

Very quiet location and overall comfortable room and bathroom.

Wifi was not working at all. The breakfast did not offer much and didn’t have any variety. I found the decoration very overwhelming and the reception is downstairs. Overall the cleanliness was not satisfying, the desk and shelves were dusty.

Beautiful Location, very quiet and very nice decoration style. Workers are very kind. Check-in was super fast and breakfast very generous.

The Hotel is beautifully located close to a small lake, but there are A LOT of mosquitos in the room and no mosquito-net at the window, so that in the night it is basically impossible to keep the window open. We were provided with anti insect spray, but it does not substitute fresh air!

It was a decent relaxing stay

I really like the friendliness of the staff. They are very kind and helpful. The check in and out procedures are very quick and contact-free. The room was being cleaned up each day and towels were changed every day. The location and the view of the hotel was very good and relaxing. There is a beautiful lake just in front of the hotel, where you can relax and take a nice walk. The rhein river is not that far away from the hotel. Overall a very relaxing experience. Disinfectant was placed in the critical places in the hotel.

It is probably due to covid pandemic, that the breakfast only has a limited amount of variations, but still decent. Furthermore I did ask for morning call each day in my 4 days stay. It was performed on the exact time for the first 2 days, it was a plus. But then I didn't get any morning call for the other 2 days, which is not so professional. There is a wifi in the room, but generally very slow. To objectify, it takes roughly 1-2 minutes to just google something up and a lot of minutes to open a website. So generally not that useful, I ended up using my mobile carrier instead.

Excellent breakfast and superfriendly staff. Perfect location to visit Heidelberg.

The SeeHotel & Restaurant Die Ente is located between Speyer and Heidelberg. The location is actually perfect to visit both, but also to visit the nice town of Schwetzingen where there is a beautiful palace with very big baroque gardens. The staff is superfriendly and the breakfast super. You can order directly what you would like in addition to the offer that is available as buffet. I suggest scrambled eggs :) The hotel inside looks very nice and I think the restaurant is good too, although I have not tried it. Not far is Hockenheim for a quick race if you want :) Overall a great experience.

The only drawback as for another hotel I tried before was the wifi. Maybe it is a problem of the concrete walls. However, the 4G connection was perfect in the area. Anyway, again, I strongly suggest a stay.

A great place to stay on the way to the Alps.

Good location and half-way 'stay-over' on the way to Bavaria/Austria. Very clean and spacious. Nice surroundings with small beer garden. Room was very hot- it was extremely warm during our stay. Food was excellent. Breakfast too, fulfilled our expectations.

Perhaps installing air-conditioning in the rooms, would be a good idea. The heat in the room was unbearable. It was extremely warm (37C).

Heerlijke lokatie, hadden een geweldige upgrade naar een Superiore, fantastico. S'avonds van een verrukkelijk avondeten genoten. Komen zeker terug.... 😀

Alles hat perfekt gepasst. Vom Zimmer bis zum Service war alles stimmig. Das Frühstück ist ein Highlight👌 Das Team absolut freundlich und gästeorientiert. Es gibt viele Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vor dem Haus. Ich bin geschäftlich viel unterwegs und dieses Hotel ist ein absoluter "Glücksgriff". Ich bin beruflich oft in der Gegend und weiß jetzt schon, wo ich da übernachten werde😉

Das Frühstück war gut - sauber - schöne, individuelle Sitzmöglichkeiten und toller Blick in den Garten - Personal sehr zuvorkommend - freundlich

Zimmerausstattung hatte Charme und Abnutzungsspuren von min. 20 Jahren - Fernseher ließ sich nicht bedienen (egal bei einer Übernachtung) Bad-Dusche Boden war nicht sauber - beide Handtücher hatten Löcher - als Heizung sollte ein kleiner beigestellter Elektrolüfter dienen ...

Wohlfühlambiente mit kleinen Abstrichen

Sehr nettes Personal, irgendwie urgemütlich eingerichtet, als ob man sich in einem großen Deko-Laden befindet. Tee gibt es an der Rezeption auch zwischendurch, ebenso nen Apfel und kleine Süßigkeiten…sehr angenehm!

Es gab ein paar abgeschlagene Ecken an Möbeln und Türen (etwas in die Jahre gekommen). Wir hatten als Hotelgäste keine Chance, für Samstagabend noch einen Tisch im Restaurant zu bekommen. Beim Frühstück fehlten mir einige Gegenstände: Schüsseln für Müsli, Tassen (weil ich nach den Kaffee gerne noch Tee trinke), vegane Aufstriche, Besteck zum Nachholen… Auf dem Zimmer gab es weder Wasserkocher noch Kaffeemaschine, das finde ich heutzutage eher selten…
