This hotel is a big complex of buildings on the pine forest slope adjacent to the sea. Location is perfect, at the same time close to picturesque pebble beach (good for snorkeling) and the lively centre of Jelsa. The overal atmosphere is very relaxing, air is filled with smells of pines, local herbs and the sea. Hotel was built in 1968 and features several types of accomodations that were subject to cosmetic refurbushment, so one should not expect all-perfection there. Booking offered a super reasonable price for accomodation+good food, and I suppose it is a great value for money. In our building the rooms have fresh walls, good flooring and good furniture, beds are very comfy. Also, our room in "Levanat" building was perfectly clean. We especially enjoyed the view from the balcony and a bunch of kittens living next to it, they are cute.
The street light on the territory of the hotel should be improved, it is too dark to walk in the evenings. Drinks included in the HB are of really poor quality (juices and coffee), but for reasonable price you can order a decent coffee or any other drink in the bar next to pools. Also, hope the hotel or the town will be able to take care of multiple stray cats living on the hotel territory. It is worrysome as the season is now over, and hotel is almost empty.

We come here for few years now, because the location is excelent, the ambient (small builidng scattered across pine forest), very good food and overall value for money. That said there are downsides.
We have seen few different rooms, usually ones with small kitchen, but also some in first rows.
They are all modestly furnished, without ac.
Some are more renovated that others, but there is no rule. Room we got this year had a wardrobe that was terrible (really old and some water leaked into it at some point before, and you can still see and smell that), but rooms around us had new wardrobes.
Hotel offers a small refrigirator for rent (which is nice since rooms are without ac) but they were never available. My group had 3 rooms and few people were there for two weeks, noone got the refrigirator.

Food was very good , quite a good choices.
The room was clean and quite big with the
terrace overlooking the sea side which was nice.
I changed it for the first room which I didn't like
for that room by the sea. Although terraces are quite overlooked.
TV in the room bad. Hardly could see what I am watching in the evening . Should not be in the room if it is not working properly.
I liked dinners and breakfast and the View from the terrace.

The pebbly beach is very nice for families. It's tiny, but offers some shade and has nice entrance to the see appropriate for the little ones.
The facility is stuck in 90'.
Accessibility for families with stroller is horrible as there are hundreds of stairs, no ramps and no elevators. There is no car access to most parts of the resort and the hotel doesn't offer buggy services, so moving in and out with a lot of luggage (applicable when you're travelling with little kids), was painfully hard.
The food is OK but most of the time there are no labels available so if you have any food restrictions, you have to ask or just risk.
Also the cleanliness around the resort is an issue. Somebody puked in the evening on a hallway in the public part of the building and nobody would take care of it until the late morning even though they were informed of such incident.
