Location was great, the lake is lovely and the park and cafe area associated with it was brilliant. The parkrun that went from the park next door was also ideal. The site itself was very clean and tidy and the staff very helpful. We had an issue with the first cabin we were given but the site manager travelled back to site out of hours and moved us to better accomodation.

The communication via the booking.com email system meant that the emails received were in very small font, especially on the phone and so I missed the requirement to pay a £500 security deposit a d when called as we were setting off to the site it came as a suprise. I've given bank details to be held and used if there was an issue, but not had to actually pay £500, with the promise of getting it back after the stay before. Needs to be more clear. Couldn't find a bottle opener or a chopping board in the kitchen and there was an overall lack of equipment.

Wonderful location, chalet looked over the lake. We visited Henley on Thames and Windsor Great Park, Coral Reef waterpark is 10 minutes away which the kids loved. We also walked over Finchampstead Ridges- about 10 minutes drive away but walks on site through the woods and Country Park. Brilliant 4 days away- great value for money.

The Chalet was small but had all we needed. We had great weather but if it had been raining and we couldn't sit outside, might of then been a bit claustrophobic. The site has no facilities like a club house, bar etc. There is a cafe in the Country Park a few minutes walk but it does shut at 5pm. So we did use the car alot but we knew all of this before so no problem.
