About this house rental
Our little piece of heaven right on the beach with 180 degrees sea views, surrounded by beautiful nature. Tranquil and private; away from the crowds, yet only 15 minutes from the nearest village, St Francis Bay with all amenities. Lat 34:11:47S, Lon 24:47:27E. About 7km dirt road from main road between Cape St Francis and St Francis Bay. Two security gates with remote control once you have turned off the main road onto the dirt road. One of only five houses for more than 4km of coast. The original family cottage has been in the family for more than a 100 years and is next door.
Rock pools at low tide provide hours of fun for the kids. Small sandy beach in front of house. Long white sandy beaches (swimming and surfing) are only 15 minutes away at St Francis Bay and Cape St Francis. Restaurants, shops, dentist, doctors all close by as above. Walk along the coast to the lighthouse, about 5km away and have lunch at Tradewinds (say hi to Lisl the lovely owner from us) or Liquid Lines (coffee shop with small indoor swimming pool). Learn to surf with Cody and his team from Surf Camp South Africa (Cape St Francis). Horse riding on the beach in Jeffreys Bay with Papiesfontein or Featherfoot. Beautiful award winning links golf course with beautiful thatched club house restaurant in St Francis Bay. Experience the beautiful St Francis Bay Canals and Kromme River on a boat cruise with St Francis Safaris or Riverbreak. World renowned surfing spots in Jeffreys Bay (35 minutes away) and Cape St Francis (15 minutes away). Addo Elephant Park and Shamwari Game Reserve (and a whole host of other malaria free game lodges) to the east and Tsitsikamma National Park and upmarket Plettenberg Bay to the west; all less than two hours drive away. 130km from Port Elizabeth Airport.
