Qinbian B&B

Perfect location for bus and old street. Spacious room, plenty of cups and towels. Aircon, dehumidifier, mosquito-killer. Cute little figurines, and plenty of mugs/cups. I stayed in the same apartment about ten years ago, and would be happy to return again.

There was a room above ours (same owner); the room above was very noisy: the neighbours woke us at 02:00 and again about an hour later when they returned to their room again. Only after we left did we see that the owner had messaged us that we should notify her when we leave; she had not told us this when she showed us the rules and checkout procedure.

中心部に階段で3〜4分。バス停の目の前にあるので行きも帰りも楽。重い荷物を上まで運ぶ手間を考えると拠点としてここがベストと思う。道路脇だが寝る時間には静まり返るし朝は鳥の声で起きられる。床が清潔で裸足で大丈夫だった。

シャワーフックが頭上になく不便。洗面と同じ高さで固定も緩かったのでグラグラしてた。また、トイレスペースが水浸しになるので日本人にはやや清潔感に欠ける。湯は2人目使用時にはややぬるめだが圧力はあり、きちんと出た。混雑時は注意した方が良いのかも。

The location is so good - the bus stops for/from Rufiang are in front of the property. It's also a short walk to Jiufen Old Street. I had a room with a balcony and the view was amazing. The lady running the B&B was messaging me before I arrived to arrange to meet me when I got off the bus so that I wouldn't struggle to find the place (while it's at the bus stop, you have to walk around to the back which might not be obvious when you first arrive). Wonderful service!

Showering is tough if you're not used to it - it's handheld and there's no shower recess so you need to take care or else you might soak the bathroom. Breakfast was nice but small; it's delivered (as promised) between 8.30am and 9.00am. I only stayed the one night. If you want to get moving early the day you check out, as I did, your best bet is to ask that it not be delivered.

Die Aussicht aus dem Zimmer, zentrale Lage, Zimmer war sauber - das war es leider auch schon.

Ich kann die vielen guten Bewertungen nicht teilen. Das B&B ist schwer zu finden, kein Schild am Haus, zum Glück hat mir der Mann vom Parkplatz gegenüber geholfen und die Besitzer angerufen. Vorsicht mit dem Parkplatz! Genau gegenüber der Unterkunft ist ein kostenpflichtiger Parkplatz von dem ich auch die Adresse erhalten habe. Man brauchte auch mein Kennzeichen damit ich einfahren konnte. Leider war es der falsche Parkplatz und ich durfte für diesen bezahlen und mußte umparken. Warum schickt man nicht vorab ein Foto, um Verwechslungen zu vermeiden? Sehr laute Unterkunft, direkt gegenüber ist die Bushaltestelle und vorm Haus die Hauptstraße. Frühstück ist ein fertig abgepacktes aus dem Convenience Store, nicht besonders, würde ich nicht nochmal buchen. Im Bad die Dusche ist ein Schlauch neben dem Waschbecken, hier wird also das Bad "mitgeduscht". Im Grunde nichts schlimmes, aber unterhalb am Anschluß ist es defekt und wie ich hier in anderen Bewertungen gelesen habe wohl schon seit längerem, schade daß man hier nicht mal was macht.... Die Einrichtung fand ich ziemlich zusammengewürfelt und unpasend, wirkte auf mich wie einfach mal was reingestellt was ich in die Finger bekomme. Für mich leider die schlechteste Unterkunft auf meiner Reise.
