About this cottage rental
Beautiful villa with two bedrooms and large living room with open kitchen, equipped with pots and pans. Immersed in a beautiful garden together with another villa (unit also available for rent) in the Piras Village, a prestigious, very quiet residential area on the island of Maddalena. The large garden with Mediterranean species, mastic and olive trees, surrounds the house and guarantees complete privacy. The Village is silent, with traffic limited to resident cars. The house, at floor level without steps, is very safe and suitable for families with children (baby kit also available) and the elderly. The three beaches of the village are easily reached in five minutes on foot along the main road. One of the beaches, Cala Grande, has a children's playground and showers. The house is furnished with solid wood furniture, typical of Sardinia and consists of a large living room, large kitchenette, a double bedroom, a huge children's room that can accommodate up to four people and a bathroom with shower.
The large terrace, equipped with table and chairs and covered with a wooden pergola, will allow you to relax and spend wonderful evenings with the breathtaking view of the island of Caprera.
The house is equipped with common household appliances (fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and TV). Bed linen and towels provided free of charge. There is no air conditioning, but the house is very cool and the temperature on the island rarely reaches 30 ° C (86 ° F). Parking is always available in the pitch right at the entrance.

Summary of reviewsThe door to the veranda requires a lot of force to open and close. The barking from the neighbor's dogs woke us up at night. Cleanliness could be improved, especially with many fingermarks on the dark bathroom walls and short black hairs on the floor.

Öffnen und schliessen der Tür zur Veranda ist nur mit grossem Kraftaufwand möglich. Das Gebell der beiden Hunde vom Nachbar hat uns in der Nacht immer wieder mal aufgeweckt. Auch die Sauberkeit dürfte besser sein, das betrifft die dunklen Wände im Badezimmer, die mit vielen Fingerabdrücken versehen waren. Auf dem Boden im Wohnraum lagen viele kurze schwarze Haare, vermutlich Hundehaare. In Anbetracht der doch hohen Endreinigungskosten, erwarten wir in dieser Disziplin mehr.
