Nice place with great hosts!

The location was amazing and the apartment has all the amenities. The host is very nice and kind and gave us a lot of information about the places that can be visited. She invited us for the drinks too! We could have easily stayed more. Highliy recommended!

The apartment was very cute and located well within the Stari Grad area, just up a hill from the main area of beach/bars/restaurants. The hosts were incredible and beyond helpful and really made the effort to make us feel welcome and gave us all the information we needed to make our stay enjoyable. It was great having use of the washing machine with plenty of hanging space on one of the two balconies. All the toiletries and other utilities we needed for our stay.

Great accommodation, although more suited to adult stays.

Breakfast was not included. Although a bit of a hill walk we found the location very good in regard beach and the town centre.

The apartment definitely need some sort of coffee making machine, eg Nespresso or an Espresso pot. The staircase to the 2nd floor did not have any safety balastrading.

Beautifully well-equipped apartment and really lovely owners. They were very friendly and helpful with explaining how the apartment worked and giving information about local attractions. It was really nice to have the personal contact with the owners. The apartment is spacious, modern and very clean. Great to have a washing machine. The apartment is 10 minutes' walk from the old town and waterfront. Very peaceful location and nice view from the balcony in the main bedroom.

Lovely apartment

Lovely apartment with 2 large bedrooms and 2 balconies. Only 10 minute walk from town and has great views over the town from one balcony. Peaceful and quiet and the owners are very helpful and welcoming.

Not a huge problem for us but just to warn people it is a fairly steep hill so may not be suitable for everyone. Also ideally air-conditioning in every room rather than kitchen would be perfect.

A great place to stay in the city of Stari Grad

We loved everything about our apartment. Mario and Irena were great hosts, they helped us out with a lot of tips about the island, where to go and what to see. The beds were comfortable, the view from the balcony was beautiful. The city center is about 10 minutes away by foot. We can only recommend this place to spend some days here. We will surely be back one day!

Excellent stay, will be back definitely

Great hosts, optimum flat for 2 adults and 2 kids. Location is great to enjoy the balcony, 7-8 minutes walk to the center. I would recommend to anyone visiting Hvar without a doubt. Stari Grad is the best location in the island to stay, MI Apartments is great to enjoy it.

The hosts were amazing. So friendly and helpful! The apartment is spacious and very clean, as shown in the photos. I have only good things to say about the overall experience. I am recommending this property and will definitely be back next summer.

Superb

Irena and Mario were excellent hosts providing a warm welcome and lots of useful information. The apartment was well kept and maintained. We enjoyed sitting on the balconies and relaxing with the view. Would definitely return and have already recommended to friends.

It was a short walk to the harbourside with lots of bars and restaurants but parts of the return journey were uphill which may be a challenge for people with mobility issues. However, despite not being the fittest of folk, we managed this fine.

Great stay, the hosts were very friendly, welcoming and looked after our every need.

Met by the hosts Mario and Irena who were very friendly and helpful at all times. They took time to tell us about the island on arrival. Great location although for the less mobile it is at the top of a hill. Shops, bars and restaurants all close by. Apartment was spacious, very clean and well equipped. Bedroom: large comfortable bed, and ample storage for clothes etc Bathroom: good size room with shower, sink,toilet, and washing machine with tablets supplied. Toiletries supplied, good quality towels and well equipped first aid cabinet. Lounge area: good size sofa bed, flat screen TV, balcony. Kitchen/Diner: Air conditioning unit, fridge with small ice box, twin ring hob, microwave, kettle, George Forman type grill. Large table with 6 chairs. Well equipped with crockery, cutlery and glassware. Iron, ironing board and clothes airers. Balcony with table and 2 chairs Overall well equipped and would stay again if we visited the resort again.

Shower cubicle was a little small in size.

Great rest, great hosts, perfect location to relax

One word: perfect. This was our honeymoon, so you automatically have higher expectations. On the spot, it turned out that it was not good. It was fantastic. Great location. Close to the center (3 minutes) but peace and quiet. Beautiful view from the balcony. The apartment has absolutely everything you need, including iron and wine opener :) Very clean, spacious and comfortable. Irena and Mario were very nice and helpful. On the first day they gave us some very useful tips what is what. We wished we had spent some time together, but the place is beautiful and we just ran out of time. We believe this is a great reason to go back there. Thank you Irena and Mario. It was a pleasure!

Great apartment with awesome hosts!

It would not be right to start this review without mentioning Mario and Irena - the owners. They are a completely fabulous couple who made us feel right at home and gave loads of advice about the island. Nothing was too much trouble and they made the difference between a good stay and a great stay. The apartment itself was very pleasant and well-equipped with a couple of nice balconies to sit with a Kindle. Plenty of storage space meant it was easier to keep tidy. The washing machine is really useful for extended travels! Location was good, just a short walk (uphill) from town and easy access to a very wide range of great bars and restaurants, as well as the supermarket and vegetable market.

Nothing serious here. The wi-fi was weak and dropped out occasionally and, like many places in Croatia, there was only one, central air conditioning unit so we slept with bedroom doors open.

The hosts were very warm The house is perfect for staying a couple of days: clean, well equipped, etc. The allocation is great, quite and 5/6 minutes from the center of Stari Grad (the best place of the island) In summary, perfect place to stay while visiting the amazing island of Hvar

Cudowna StaroGradzka przygoda

Na dzień dobry zostaliśmy miło przywitani lampką pysznego schłodzonego wina (a nasz syn pysznym napojem). Otrzymaliśmy mapę miasta i wyspy wraz z cennymi wskazówkami m.in. Dotyczącymi plaż. Piękny czas w pięknym apartamencie, z wyśmienitym widokiem na Stari Grad. W domu było wszystko czego potrzeba: lodówka, płyta grzewcza, pralka, suszarki, żelazko, deska do prasowania, tv, szybki internet, klimatyzacja i wiele innych. Apartament czysty. Dom położony w idealnym miejscu z miejsce parkingowym (na przystań ok 5 minutę spacerem w dół). Polecam każdemu kto chce mieć domowe warunki na wakacjach. A właściciele - przemili ludzie, którzy swoją gościnnością i sposobem bycia spowodowali że wrócimy tam za rok. Pozdrawiamy :)

Si torna sempre dove si è stati bene

Era la seconda volta negli appartamenti di Mario e Irena e non posso che riconfermare la valutazione positiva dell'altra volta. Appartamento super pulito e fornito davvero di tutto. Mario e Irena sono molto carini,ci hanno fatto trovare nel frigo acqua e latte al nostro arrivo e anche bustine di tè e caffè solubile. Ci hanno invitato da loro per una birra insieme e quattro chiacchiere ed è stato molto piacevole. La casa è a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro della graziosissima Stari Grad. L'unica cosa che ha dato problemi è stato il WiFi ma per noi non era così importante e loro si sono subito dati da fare per risolvere la situazione.

Nulla... è stato tutto bello, purtroppo come l'altra volta è durata troppo poco:-)
