Great view but not worth the money(small flat within old block of flats far from BadGastein station)
Apartment was easy to find and the manager Huber was very kind/helpful in all communication and leaving the key at a lock box due to our very late arrival (thank you!). It is possible to park easily in front of the apartment (the block of flats). View from the apartment down the Gastein valley is breathtaking - also with the big balcony it could be nice to sit and look outside in the summer (not applicable in winter due to cold). Walking distance from Bad Gastein waterfalls (10-15minutes).
Not an "apartment", just a 1 room flat (on 3rd fl.) within another 40 flats (old concrete block of flats) far from Train station (30min walk). Not "Stylish" as it was clearly fitted with different leftover furniture. Be sure to not book this apartment if coming in more than 2 person - It has no door at the bedroom! (bedroom but just a small space fully fitted with mattress (no window, no doors,no extra room-just the mattress). Only door within whole apartment are to Toilet (directly in front of bed, and the doors and walls are quite thin (you hear everything :-( ). Apartment has no storage/furniture for clothes or luggage. Only an old rack for hanging coats so you will be left with your luggage thrown around the living/kitchen room. The apartment is bit worn out (scratches in pain on walls, some iron hanging from ceiling bathroom, weirdly cut kitchen drawer for non fitting refrigerator). It is nearly impossible to get into the freezer part of refrigerator and if you get - you will find it full of condensed ice (not cleaned?). WiFi is just a small TP-link3G dongle which is very slow and unreliable (needs resetting constantly). Your SKIs cannot be stored safely within the apartment! but must be stored within a Ski Room in minus 2nd floor (we did not find it safe considering the block of flats had 40 other apartments with different local/foreign people hanging around).What we found sad is the cleaning cost and penalization.It is a very tiny 1 room flat (not really an apartment) and the owner charges 55Euro for cleaning.Yet upon arrival you fill find a letter saying that YOU have to clean the Kitchen and take out the rubbish yourself!If you fail to do so, there is a extra penalization 30Euro for "Rubbish still in flat", and 50Euro for "Kitchen not clean".

Good
The place is quite comfortable, has well-equipped kitchen and everything necessary for a stay. It is good size for 2 people, but might be a little too small for three. The view from the window is good. The stop for buses going to different ski lifts is about 3 minutes walking. The manager was very friendly and explained all the details.
One should be prepared, that the property is rather far from the train station, thus it is not easy to reach it by foot, especially with luggage. There is a bus (555 and 567) that comes close to the place, however it is only once per hour after 16.55 and the service stops at 18.25. Moreover, one should be aware that the flat is in outskirts of the town - the supermarket is close to the train station, and most of the restaurants are in the center as well.
