The location even though is very centered, the are felt very insecure. We were told by the taxi driver there was a lot of prostitution, which doesn’t have to do anything with the hotel off course. However, something we noticed was the hotel staff, especially a young lady that was at the front desk, was rude to us several times. We asked questions (as all tourists do), and she’d reply impolitely every time.

I sent a message to the hotel both via Booking as to their email address a few days before my arrival. I wanted to ask whether I could check in after 12am, but didn’t get a response. Luckily, I arrived at the hostel after 12am and I could easily check in. However, it would have been reassuring that this was certainly possible to avoid not being able to check in when arriving late at the hostel.
