I had stayed there 2.5 yrs previously & liked the setting & historical feel of the property + restaurant was good hence returning.
Very good breakfast included, no kettle to make a hot drink in my room but one night there was still a staff member around so asked for a jug of hot water & she was very obliging.
Room was good, bed comfortable & view of inner courtyard was nice. Bathroom was small but adequate but the colour was a very bright green (the room I'd stayed in previously had a v bright pink bathroom)
I liked the location but it is in the country & my internet wasn't working much so returning in the dark proved challenging at times.
No way to make a hot drink in my room.

Noisy ducks!! Shower / bathroom very small

So this didn't really feel like a hotel, more like a piece of beautiful history with a beer garden in it's courtyard, so quiet and peaceful which I really liked, as well as a totally top notch really well organised breakfast in it's lovely restaurant so I fully recommend as value for money. The room was super clean and loved the attic style window

Nice place, great staff and they allow pets
the wifi in my room was unfortunately really bad and I had to go to a public space in the hotel.

It was a bit difficult to find the way in at first

Very good breakfast! I asked for a later check out so I could take a hike in the morning, take a shower and then have lunch at their restaurant before I needed to leave. This was no problem. Enjoyed the hike and the Schlesien raviolis were excellent!

The place is beautiful, easy public transport access and the surroundings are awesome
The breakfast didn't have the best quality. Also, a lot of noise coming from the street.

I loved my stay here, so peaceful and simple.🍀 The staff was friendly, the breakfast delicious, the pond with fountain and the sound from the fountain in back of the haus was very nice.

The breakfast is very good.
The bathroom is not clean enough for me cause there are some black spots on the wall, i can not adjust the shower head. At 1130PM there are still some people talking outside which i can hear loudly. I didnt like the pillow and there is a couch which looks dirty and smells old.

clean and very friendly staff. The food was excellent and the service very good.
The room was big and spacious- an easy chair as well. Lots of natural light. had a excellent sleep. Not too far from the main roads. A good choice for an overnight. Lots of historical places to visit.
The Booking.com said there was parking on site. It was not on the site nor property- but public on the other side of the main road.
It would have been good if the main staff spoke English…

Very nice accomodations in historic setting. Very quiet. Spacious rooms with up-to-date beds. Breakfast buffet was very nice as well, with very friendly staff.
Sanitary facilities in the rooms are of the French "Formule 1" hotel style, i.e. all-plastic retrofitted cabin, very small. Functional, yes, but not a place where you would want to spend time at all. Also, no other facilities at the location, e.g. no pool, no gym. Free parking is available, but no garage, and with a short walk around the premises to the parking area at the back of the property. No elevator - I don't need that, but for some this may be good to know.

The breakfast was good
It's not easy to find the parking. Nobody speak english, but also nobody is friendly. The only women who was correct was the one in the breakfast place. No air dryer. Wifi is not working good, and the code is not easy to find in the documents all in german. For the price, we could expect more.

Comfortable, quaint hotel. Great shower, cosy room. Good buffet breakfast. Very big portions in restaurant for dinner. Fantastic location for hiking
There is nothing available information-wise in any language other than German and no one spoke English which is unusual I would say in a hotel. Had I not had the German I learned 30 years ago to fall back on it would have been complicated :)

Beautiful old place. Wonderful old style restaurant. Excellent breakfast.

Great location, looks lovely on the outside, quite cheap. Reception was friendly.
Sadly my room wasn't clean, there were fatty fingerprints on the closet, weird browns stains on the door and a layer of dust on the lightbulbs. The room really needs some renovation, the carpet was worn down, the room number sign was broken and the bathroom is quite old. The reception doesnt speak english.

A different place with an interesting history, the sort of place you might have expected to go to for a retreat in the 70s. Good hot shower in the en-suite. We went to a friendly pizzeria up the road our first evening, as the bar seemed to be closing down there early after an event. We had a really good evening meal in the restaurant there the second night.
The service was mixed. No obvious reception process. One barman was hostile and unhelpful. The breakfast menu offered fruit salad but there wasn’t any available. The entrance staircase to our room smelled bad and the stair carpet needed replacing or a deep clean. I was overcharged by €100 for the stay but fortunately my bank had questioned the payment and blocked my account, so that gave me an opportunity to sort the matter out with the property.

The location was unexpected great for that price. The room and all was clean and quiet. They were expecting me and the instructions for if you come late was also clear and working !!

Zimmer war anfangs kalt, also kein warmes Willkommen.

Zimmer sehr einfach. Wenig Lärmschutz gegenüber anderen Touristen.
