Villa Rodi

We spent a wonderful week at Villa Rodi in Gavalochori, Crete, in August 2026, and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay. The villa was exceptionally well equipped, clean, and clearly maintained to a high standard. We felt comfortable from the moment we arrived; everything we could have needed was thoughtfully provided, making it an ideal place to relax and unwind. The views were truly outstanding. From the lounge and dining-room balconies, we enjoyed sweeping vistas across the valley towards the sea, with the surrounding mountains creating a beautiful backdrop. We spent many peaceful hours outside with a cold drink in hand, simply soaking up the magnificent scenery. Overall, Villa Rodi provided the perfect setting for a fantastic holiday. We would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable, beautifully maintained villa in a stunning part of Crete, and we would be delighted to return.

Ich habe jetzt schon sehr viele Ferienunterkünfte erlebt und musste in der Vergangenheit öfter erleben, dass Papier doch wirklich sehr geduldig ist, auch in digitaler Form: Beschreibung und Realität lagen häufig weit auseinander. Die Villa Rodi schlägt auf der anderen Seite der Skala auf: das Haus ist architektonisch genial, alles ist in einem hervorragenden Pflegezustand, die Ausstattung der Küche, der Zustand der Bäder, die Betten - alles übertrifft Beschreibung und Erwartung. Ein kleines Beispiel: die Kanne der Kaffemaschine hatte durch die vorherigen Mieter einen Riss im Boden. Eine WhatsApp Nachricht und die Maschine wurde ausgetauscht! Die Lage des Hauses ist ein bisserl abseits, aber selbst ich habe es nahezu problemlos gefunden. Der Pool war ebenfalls hervorragend gepflegt. Vielen Dank an die Vermieter und Yvonne!
